He had run from Gabriel, run from responsibility, run after sleeping with Firefly, run run run run run. He had run after Skoll's death, his pain the excuse for not being there to bury his friend. He had returned, determined to do better. And now, faced with the possibility of consequences, he was going to run. As he watched the shore of Ila Harbour and the waves crashing against it, Lubomir felt his anxiety slowly wash away. What would come would come. He would face it then. And, quite possibly, run from it.

It was beginning to get to him. The fear that meeting the female would get him ejected from Dahlia. The fear that when Mew found out the truth she would reject him and crush all hopes that he could find happiness with her. Where could he go? He hadn't found Tayui or Pilot. Maybe with Ember? But he had hurt her too, a long time ago. It seemed that no matter what he did to redeem himself, the ghosts of Lubomir's past would not just die. So much hope put into this journey, an exorcism for his soul, a chance to settle down and live out the years of his life.
