Ila Harbor.
Already Adelaida had chosen favorite spots of the packs lands, and it had not been difficult since she had know the lands since the time she had been a child. Ila Harbor was one, for now at least, for in the January winds few came out this way to stare at the waters. The chilly breeze did not bother the chocolate colored lady, it only served to help numb the body while she tried to numb the mind.
Adeliada had not seen Sankor since the day they had been accepted by Cwmfen, leaving an ache in her heart and a pit in her stomach. Perhaps he was only getting adjusted to pack life, they had never really live in a true pack before, but perhaps he was spending time with the raven lady with blue woad markings. Or he might have other friends in Dahlia de Mai now, Adelaida didn’t know, and though she hadn’t detested anyone she had met just yet, or at least she tried not to, she didn’t quite count any of them as friends. Still only Sankor and Alexey filled those slots, and Alexey hadn’t returned.
Walking along one of the docks jutting out into the harbor, Ade sigh heavily, knocking rocks into the water in the manner of a cat knocking a vase off the mantel. "You can have her Sankor… you can have all of them." The grumblings came out unwished for and Adelaida was almost surprised to hear her own voice. Letting a small growl escape her lips, she fell heavily onto the dock, laying against the worn wood, thinking about her siblings.
