"It is your Spirit Guide." Ayegali answered the other woman quietly, a look of pride taking over the features of her face. It was always a proud thing, when a member of her tribe was granted a Spirit Guide. "The Spirit of an animal, sent to only those who are worthy, to accompany you through life's journey." It was a hard thing to explain, especially to those who hadn't been raised with their traditions. "They can be seen only when they want to be seen and speak to only those that they wish to." She would come to learn more about them in time, Ayegali was certain. "All you must do is accept it and the two of you will be bonded for life."

When she thought about it, the concept actually seemed rather frightening, but she knew that the Spirits wouldn't have sent him if the other woman hadn't been ready to accept him. "They even have names." She informed the younger woman, a slight hint that she may want to begin by asking the snake it's name. Turning her attention away from Catherine, silver eyes glided to the snake, giving it a faint nod before finally returning to the woman. It was good to see someone receiving their guide, especially someone previously foreign to the tribe. She could still hold on to the hope that they would all fit in.
