All these things I

700+ heh, im rambling a bit

If he was to sit down and think about it, he would of course understand the pack's caution when it came to small babies. Haku was one that murdered and inflicted pain because he liked it, so there were reasons to worry about him. Though, when had he ever harmed another pack member? Well, he had, true, but he had always reasons when it became psychical. Haku was a hard leader. If anyone threatened his family or any other Dahlia member, or refused to show him respect, then he could easily turn words into action. Lubomir had received a taste, and Coli had been scared half to death when he found her a few days after she had entered the pack. His mood had soured the meeting between father and long lost daughter visibly, but he had kept her tempter relatively good if anyone was to ask for his opinion of how it had gone. What was worst with the girl was that she ran all over the place and cried out about what he had done to her so long time ago. What was the point in that? He was a respected leader here, he had started anew. Then the silly brat had started running all over the place in her attempt to turn everyone against him. It seemed to be working, but there were some that still stayed strong and supported him still. He was grateful for that.

When it came to Alexey, Haku did not know if Coli's words had reached her yet, but if not then it was only a question about time before they did. He had just decided to not think about it. If the pack had big issues with what they heard, then he hoped they for once would come to him and talk about it before going crazy all over. That was what irritated the chocolate Lilium the most. Everyone just assumed, everyone swallowed rumors and words from other characters without questions, and then judged him endlessly. He was so tired of it. He took responsibility for his actions, but it never seemed to matter, because in their eyes he would never change. Luckily Haku was not a man that broke under such pressure. He had tried to alter it into something more amusing. He felt rather sorry for the rest of the flock for being so narrow minded. As long as he had a few trusted people around him and his position, he was unbreakable. Some things could sting, yes, but he was an immortal on his throne nevertheless. Alexey did not even know him, had barely spent any time in his presence at all, that was part of why his reaction at the birth scene had been so broken.

He took the child in his arms, quickly wishing he had not asked for it. He felt so clumsy, and the father was afraid the little snot would start his screaming again. He looked down at the boy and the child stared back with baby blue eyes in a similar color to Haku's own. It was impossible to know how they would turn out yet, with still strong baby colors. He perked his ears when the woman spoke up, calling him again by his name. The male looked up at the shifted female, his expression indifferent. It did not help her that his mood already was somewhat foul. He was slightly surprised as he listened to her apology, but his expression did not falter. Not cut out to be father. Strange how often he heard that sentence. Usually it was his own mental words. "Maybe I'm not." His voice was still dark and slightly dismissive as if he wished for her to leave immediately. The beast was still slightly wounded and it bloomed up in his head when he was reminded about it. "I'd just prefer to get a chance before the judgment, unless that is too much to ask for."

The male turned slightly away, and he was aware of the fact that he was rude. He knew he handled this rather poorly, but he was never one to talk about his own emotions to another being. He would never openly admit that they had tore him to shreds that day not too long ago. To feel was to be weak, he had been told, and he always did his best to remain strong. It had been slightly foolish to name the two boys Soul, because it could tempt certain enemies of his if they ever happened to run across the boys (and girl) and figure out their full names. Pack life with mates and all had probably been a huge mistake since it kept him from acting on behalf of his true nature. Still, there were certain aspects that he enjoyed. The demon stayed calm as well, a very strong reason alone to continue this life.
