She hadn't quite made it to Halifax yet--she still hadn't found Gabriel. She'd been about to (temporarily) give up and move on when she'd come across Talitha (or vice versa, perhaps). Although not exactly who she was aiming for, by genetics the young girl was about 50% there. For whatever reason this was enough to keep her lingering within Inferni's general vicinity that much longer. It wasn't the best logic and she knew it, but she was becoming increasingly intrigued and perplexed by the doggish male's aloofness, too. Hadn't Corona informed him that there was a small black wolf with strange red markings looking for him? She'd found scent trails of his a couple of times, but as soon as they got too near the marked borders she always turned and went back. One of these times she'd catch him as he was leaving... right?
Perhaps, but today would not be that day. A masculine scent carrying Inferni's trademark odour roused her hopes for an instant, but as the red-eyed girl squinted into the distance she could already tell this was not Gabriel. Clearly, a grey coyote did not equate to a dark-saddled German Shepherd-ish looking fellow. Maserati was about to leave him to his peace (he appeared to be reading), but her interest piqued once more as he tilted his head ever so slightly. A splash of purple marked that side of his muzzle--ah, great! It wasn't every day that the girl found others who sported colours other than the natural greyscale through brown. Her tail began to sway behind her and she called to Charger who was dancing with the waves nearby. She trotted closer lightly before pausing at a distance. Sounding a curious, polite bark, she waited where she stood for permission to come closer, her posture relaxed and friendly.
