He gritted his teeth, disliked the words she used in front of the small child that was present. Firefly had not even wanted him close by after she had found out that Deuce and her child was here, so obviously Haku had not been there, but now it was only his fault. His nostrils took in the scent of the creature she had battled with, and when he had it safe placed in memory, he turned around and left the scene, following Kol. He too would take the tour to the house and find the missing children together with blood. The situation somewhat mattered, but he was filled with more confusion than rage and fear. No fear, but a bit of rage. What really got to him was that the scent of the canine that had given her was not present in the house. A low snarl sounded from the male as he strode through the house, splitting the house in two so that both he and Kol had their own searches. |
