Blue eyes watched as her face changed and her eyes became bright. Anu realized what was really happening. The facts were written all over Savina. The scent, the gleam of her coat, and of course the shape that Anu had already noticed. It brought a smile to her face, and she laughed a little as Savina spoke. Anu should have known.
Oh Savina… Her voice held the excitement that had been growing. Her tail started to wag as the issues that had consumed her were temporarily forgotten. It was something special, and Anu wanted to share the excitment. Thoughts of little pups running through the manor were somewhat bitter sweet, but she refused to think of it as anything but joyous.
How long? How long would they have to wait? Maybe now there would be a way for Anu to support Savina as she did her. They would need a pupsitter of course… |
