Too cool to be a spring's wind

The girl had found the most perfect dress. She had decided that she needed more clothing; the coat that she had been wearing when Ezekiel had brought her to these lands was far too small now. She had kept it anyway, and it sat in the back of the den as a sort of a reminder of her trip here. She never wanted to forget where she'd come from, and how much better all of this was from everything that she had left back home. The shifted female ran one hand down the satin of the red child's dress, sighing. It was the most beautiful thing that she'd ever seen, and she felt wonderful in it.

She had a basket on one arm full of other fabrics and dresses, ones that Bane had helped her decide on. She was an adult, but most of the time she didn't do many adult activities. Siobhan wasn't really interested in learning how to hunt unless she absolutely needed to. Her mother had always taught her that it was a useless thing for a female to learn and that males were supposed to provide for their family...so she was only now just learning how to do it. She didn't really like it.

She couldn't help how she had been raised. Siobhan was slowly learning that most of the things that her mother had taught her weren't really good ideas to live by. She couldn't expect Ezekiel to provide her with food when she had two capable hands of her own. The young adult took step after step through the frozen woods, red eyes rising every few moments to glance at the sky above. It had been clear earlier but now it was beginning to cloud over, blocking the sun. The rays that did get through made the trees around her glimmer and glitter, their light reflecting off of the icicles that hung down from the many branches.
