She figeted nervously, distractedly, scratching behind one ear. She had been wandering around this place for a couple of days, following various smells and scents that seemed familiar. Ghosts of scents. She had thought that she had been smelling Savina for a while now, in different places, but had been unable to figure out where the smell was originating from. And she did not even know if the smell was really Savina or just something that she was making up in her head because she wanted it to be Savina. She had left the pack without telling anyone and had not wanted to be found whatsoever by any of her family members, but so much time had passed and it was just not in her any more to be alone any longer. She needed them, whether she wanted to admit it or not.

The last wolf that she had seen from their old group had been Carlo, when he had found her after she had run away. He had explained to her that he did not think that the miscarriage had been her fault and that he thought that they could work things out together, and she had believed him. For a while. But Ghita had been proven a fool in that instance. Carlo had left her, just as she had attempted to leave him when she had fled her pack. He had wanted to do things together, or so he had said, but the next day it had not only been Carlo that was missing...another female from the pack, Elli, had gone away with him.

A few months more and Ghita was ready to go back home again. She did not like life on her own, with the nomadic pack that she had found. She missed her old pack and her old village, where she knew each and every wolf. But when she had returned to that village, the most important parts of it were missing. Amata was gone, and the others had told her that both Savina and Ehno had taken off for one reason or another. She should have guessed that something like that would happen, as she had left the pack too...but she had always thought that she would go back there and find them there. That they would always be there, no matter where she went. Savina and Ehno had seemed like homebodies.

The mixed colored fem sat just outside the border of the Crimson Dreams pack, near the lake. She had taken a bath in it earlier that day, noting that the pack's territory did not include every part of the lake shore, and had been watching the pack activities as much as she could. She wanted to know if Savina was here before she tried to actually join or anything like that. It would not be worth it unless her family was here. It had been too long...she had been away from them for such a long time. A year? More? She did not know any more. It felt like a million days had passed.

"Savina… dovreste essere qui." she mumbled. The sounds around here were unfamiliar, and so were the sights and smells. Ghita had been in so many new places and had met so many new wolves lately that she was not completely sure of what was normal any more, though. Were these kinds of birds native to Italy? She did not know. And if Savina and Ehno were really here, why would they have chosen this area to settle? She bit at her lip piercings a little bit as she thought, a habit of hers, her brow creasing. It did not make sense. These lands would almost definitely be colder than back home, which would mean a harsher way of life. She did not understand it.

Dark turquoise eyes gazed up toward the sun where it sat in the sky above her. Mid-day. It was about time that she alert somebody of her presence, before she was discovered. The pack would probably think that it was suspicious that a wolf was sitting there, watching the pack activities...and they could chase her out. She could smell that Savina was here, but she did not want to wait any longer and risk being found by anyone else. She sat back again, lifting her muzzle up to the sky and letting lose a call for her sibling. Now all that she could do was wait and see. She could run away if she needed to, if someone else came.
