The drunkenness filled his head. Sickness twisting his stomach and the effect started to push his stomach's contents up and down. His life rushed around him spinning as he rested his head in his hands. Everyone had their own ghosts. Naniko's folks had abandoned her, his parents died protecting him, family came and went in his life. It was perfectly normal for him to feel like he didn't have a soul in the world that he considered family. His heart bleed for someone to accept his as theirs, to be his and be faithful. He craved to protect and teach his own pups. Though his dreams where filled with these thoughts they never seemed to come true. Shaking his head he fought back tears from his watery eyes.

Anu's words floated in his head as she let her own ghosts fly free into his own. Her haunting blue eyes pierced threw him like he was not alive, or she wasn't. He knew the feeling all to well, it was a lifestyle well withing his ken. The want to hide in a corner away form t he world, scream into the sky and curse those around you for having a better life. Those other wolves with their happy smiles, happy families, happy mates, happy fucking lives. God he hated them sometimes.

Her story was typical, love gained, betrayal, love lost. A story like every other life form who ever experienced a romantic drama. It would seem that everyone must have one of these in their lives in order for it to be complete. He felt sorry for the wolfess before him so lost within her world of lovers. However, she had it coming because she was the one to betray Naniko. Now at least he knew the full story of what happened and why they were never seen together anymore. Nodding his head the coal male sighed, “We're mortal, we sometimes mess things up for ourselves. If we're lucky the mess will only affect ourselves but most of the time we end up leaving our filthy prints on everyone around us.”
