She could recognize a gentle soul when she saw one, and Sibohan had found that she tended to gravitate toward these types of creatures. It didn't matter to her if the creature was a wolf, a coyote, or a little of both...even though in Inferni, most were coyotes. Ezekiel was one of the ones that she stuck close to. She did have a few friends outside of the lands that weren't coyotes...like Haven, though. But he was part coyote. Siobhan looked at Jasper with interest, coming closer and looking at what he had in his hands She enjoyed Jasper's company in a new, strange way--she had never met anyone who was shyer than herself, and found him very interesting indeed.

The crushed mouse looked like it was on its last leg, and she closed his hand over it again so that she didn't have to keep looking at it. It was really sad, the look that it was giving them. Did it know it was going to die? "It was an accident...you would not step on him on purpose, Siobhan thinks. Eh...maybe...put him under a leaf or by this tree, and maybe he will feel better after a rest and will run home." He looked too injured to do that, really, but what else could they do? Carry him around? "We can come back and look later and see if he is still here. If he isn't, then he ran home"
