As he had been hoping, Dierdre was not interested in asking more about his family. He had been vague and reasonably enigmatic about it, and that, it seemed, was enough of a full stop. It was interesting to learn that she was built as strongly into the primary family of Storm as so many others were. In many ways, it made Tamerlane even more of an outsider... but that was not, strictly speaking, entirely possible.
