Why did it not eat cow? Maybe not wolf only wolf like and wolf scented. Maybe, possibly, perhaps, yes? How could that be though? Only wolf was wolf and could not be anything else. Only one wolf, it could be stomped on if it misbehaved. Not large enough threat to flee from, no, because grass was green and juicy here and the creature wanted to stay her forever until it got bored and looked for that greener grass that made the world work. The animal looked at the little cub while it was trying to make threatening postures with its tongue. An ear shook gently to rid itself of one of the many winged insects that were his constant companions except for white stuff on ground time because they fell down and disappeared then. More woof like sounds came from the canine, and the bull’s tongue quickly withdrew from its nose to find its righteous place inside its mouth. For a moment all movement from the giant highland cow ceased when the predator thing came closer. Then the thing sat down, and cow was amazed.

It did not understand what the wolf was doing. Suddenly it had only two legs and had its bum on the ground. The cow coked its head to the side to better investigate this with one giant rolling eye. It stretched its neck to come closer to the predator without having to move from its pretty grass spot. The small thing woofed again, and the giant creature pulled back its massive head. Did it want Cow’s grass? Although Cow was far too bright to recollect memories of any social life, it had been a bullied little bull not more than one year ago before it had gained its impressive size. Was it being bullied? It did not understand what that was, and so it could be hard to determine if it was or not. Life could be very complicated with dangerous woofers around. This was just one tiny wolf and the bull would not let the dog steal its grass because it was very green and tasty and was supposed to end up in his four stomachs.

The bull lowered its head and got the wolf right in the blind zone when it turned its face towards the woof and warned it with a bellowing “Moooooooo!”
