Lannen was in a somewhat foul mood this morning. The sun had come up only a few hours ago. The day had dawned, crisp and clear. He found the weather agreeable, but felt restlessness building up in him like a storm. The male kicked a rock around the ground despondently. He didn't know what had inspired these feelings of unrest, but he couldn't help it now that it was building up inside of him. He was frustrated, pacing like a caged tiger. His hands itched to curl into fists, but he took a deep breath and let it out. He had to maintain control of himself.

When the white male had first arrived at AniWaya, he had been a bit of a mess. He had been fighting for control over his more aggressive tendencies. In those days, instinct had possessed a louder voice than reason. He hadn't craved violence, he simply wasn't the sort. But he found that he had very little patience, and that it was easy to give him to his baser instincts.

Disgruntled, the male rolled his shoulders, letting his head tip back so that his brown eyes contemplated the sky. He tried to relax, but found that he couldn't steady himself. He couldn't grab ahold of his control, and he couldn't let go of his unrest. There was no middle ground, either. He swung dangerously between one extreme and the other.
