Sorry for the delay!! 400+

Ehno wasn’t sure why he was out here, wandering about in the pouring rain. The only excuse he could come up with for his behavior was that he was simply patrolling the borders as he tended to do. All he was certain of was that he couldn't sit idly around the house. Either his feet or his mind had to wander, and he couldn't handle the stray thoughts that had been assaulting his mind any longer. He trailed along the borders of the pack territory, feet dragging along the muddy ground. The Italian man kept his eyes forward, determined to pay attention to his surroundings rather than the paths his thoughts wandered along. He didn’t realize how rain soaked his form had become until he reached the partial shelter of the more heavily forested part of the borders.

A relatively fresh scent then caught his attention, leading straight out of Crimson Dreams. It was the familiar scent of his sister, and without a second thought he found himself following the trail through the forest. He hadn’t seen or spoken to her for very long after the pack meeting. He didn’t care if she had some important goal for being out here in the rain; he just wanted to see her and talk to her. Maybe together they could make sense of this whole situation they had been thrown into. When he finally caught up with her, the sight shocked him. Sobs penetrated the air and her form was curled inward as if to block out the world. He immediately rushed toward her, kneeling beside her and wrapping his arms around her in a protective and comforting embrace. “Savina…”

The rain-scented air was tainted with the metallic tang of blood. He was even more alert now, eyes widening and ears perking. Amber eyes searched her form for any wounds, hoping that the blood he scented was not hers. Not a moment later he spotted the injury and panic seized him briefly. She had been attacked, but thankfully she didn’t seem to be too terribly harmed. Who could have done this to her? He stared at the wound on her arm, frowning. "Lei sanguina..."It was a statement of fact, as if voicing it out loud would somehow make it stop. Only then did he notice the scent, a trace of something familiar that awoke the angry part of his brain. It was only a moment before he recognized it as scent of the intruder from weeks ago. Ehno’s frown deepened, but his tone remained soft. "Ciò che è successo?" How did she get hurt? Why was she crying? He wanted to know about all that ailed his sibling, whether the pain was physical or emotional.
