golden suns that never set

Why the golden woman had decided to venture away from the packlands she couldn't say but her travels had brought her into the lands of eternal sunshine.. atleast until fall came and it became the lands of withered flowers. She walked among the stalks with the bright suns waving back and forth above. Firefly paused a second to glance up at the brilliant flowers with the black faces before leaping through their rows and trying to make a break for the borders. She knew it was almost useless since the flowers seemed to go on for acres. Instead of growing frustrated she just began to dart in and out of the rows, ignoring the rabbits and fowl that she scared up in her strange and unusual antics. Her tongue lolled out of her maw as she smiled to herself, though she was alone in many ways she felt whole for once, knowing where she belonged.

Finally the pace had begun to get to her after a long while at the chase. Slowing down the Sadira could hear her heart pounding inside her chest as she caught her breath. The scent of the rabbits was still lingering and she knew that if she really wanted to she could find a bit of a meal in the meadow that was home to the flowers that had seemingly stolen the sun's rays. Instead of coursing after one of the small mammals she turned away and actually sought out the edge of the field.

Sitting along the rim of the heighty flowers she scanned the lands around her, wondering idly in the back of her mind just which of the members of Inferni had Haven gotten himself in a mess with. She knew she wouldn't seek out the clan anytime soon but it had been a long time since she'd even tried to confront her past, though she'd put the events behind her for the most part she knew that the clan still lingers, probably looking to cause more trouble for their small pack. She bared her fangs at the idea and shook her head before snapping down one of the talk stalks and going over to examine the flower closer.
