It felt good to be here, holding his mate in his arms, in the warmth of the fireplace against that dreadful storm outside the cave. It was this kind of alone time Pendzez wanted now and then with his beloved Xeris. The news about the pups so surprising, his heart was beating faster with excitement. Xeris' head upon his shoulder as she was comfortable in his arms. He was gonna have a family, that was the greatest news he would ever hear.
Pendzez listened as Xeris explained about some of the things to do before she would give birth to the pups. It would be stressful to find a good place for the winter seasons and the harsh weather. Pendzez's cabin was big enough for the both of them. A little more room for pups is fine. The cabin can fit three wolf couples in there.
