Distance filled up her brilliantly red orbs as she imagined those three major conflicts Gabriel spoke of. Inferni seemed fond of war – or perhaps it was the opposite. War found the coyote clan. The reason for this was obvious, for it seemed wolves and coyotes were unable to live in the same lands without creating conflicts. Halo had chosen her Lykoi surname with pride the day she decided that she belonged with her coyote family. Without her bastard of a father’s influence she would have wandered through life as an always misunderstood hybrid trying to live the wolfen life. Thankfully Vitium had proven not to be completely useless and enlightened her some. Lies or not, they had set her out on her path towards Inferni. Unfortunately her siblings had failed completing their quest, but Halo was still standing and intended to walk in Kaena Lykoi’s foot prints until she had grown enough to get her own shoes and make history in Gabriel’s Inferni. There was so much she wanted – most of her thoughts and desires had not changed. Only small alternations had been made as her fairytale world had been punctured.

She nodded and snapped out of her dreamy gaze – again focusing on her uncle. ”I’d like to accept your offer to learn how to use a spear in fight. Is an actual spear required for the first session?” She knew little of how strict her Aquila was in teaching sessions and if he required a proper weapon first day then she would dart to Halifax and search until she found the actual item or something that resembled it as closely as possible. Halifax was a goldmine, but it could not always provide the treasure seeker with the right kind of glitter. She should take time to gather several other weapons as well if she came across them. Perhaps she could find something of use in the same store where she had found her beautiful swords. A shiver went through her at the thought of having to visit the scene where Samael had ruined her for life. The pavement would probably still have remaining stains of all that blood. Perhaps an empty, picked out skull would grin at her. The thought was horrifying, but that store was a good place to start looking for weapons of other kinds.
