Before the start our love drifted apart

The reason why he did as she wanted was because there was not really much else to do. She was a stupid girl, this was for certain, but nice voices made him warm up to her regardless. She was older and smarter and she had been taught to trust other, older wolves. He liked her better when she was being nice with her soothing noise. He would try not to cry. The little puppy sniffled loudly and tried to still the small hiccups. He still wished that mommy was here, but it was not very bad anymore now when the girl was okay. Still, she had crushed his toy. A set of new tears flooded his eyes as he thought of his forever lost toy, but he forced his lips together and did not cry more.

The boy did not really think much as she told him to lean over while gently pushing him over on his side. It was not until he was down on the ground he started to ponder her actions. How could stupid girl show him something if he was lying on the ground? He was about to tilt his head upwards to whine about the lack of fun when weight pushed him down and his head was completely pinned. A moment he kept still, but then he realized that this was neither fun nor comfortable. He whined and wriggled but got nowhere. She called him stupid! He started to cry again. ”Ueeeeeeee” the boy cried out pathetically, not wanting to play this game of hers.

Suddenly her stupid black face vanished out of view and he tried to howl for his mommy, but only a squeak escaped his form. Her face was back now and he felt something large be squished into his ear canal. Oh no it was beetle! A crunching noise sounded as she pummelled it deeper in and squished it even more. He wailed and screamed, because there was a squashed beetle in his ear and she would push it all into his head. He shook and jerked and give panic free reins. This was the saddest meanest day in the world.
