I'm working on the railroad

Eima gave a small smile as she dropped the first seed into the hole that she had dug moments ago. She hadn't done much planting in her life, but was there really anything you needed to know? All you had to do was: dig a hole, drop the seed in the hole, cover the seed up with dirt and then move on to the next one. It was mindless, easy work really since there was no thinking or problem solving involved with it. She didn't see why some wolves complained about having to plant a few seeds. It was enjoyable really after all the months of cold being able to just be out here in the sun was enjoyable and making yourself useful made it even better.

Eima covered the tomato seed up with dirt and moved on to the next one, quickly digging a small hole and then dropping another seed in it. She wished she had done more planting with her mom when she was alive. It would have been a nice way to spend time with her but it was to later now since her mother was now laying under the ground in the cave they had used as a den for as long as she could remember. Her mom had liked in there in the cave since it had stayed about sixty degrees all year round, but there had been a few times where her mother had wanted to move into something more modern, but they had never got around to it.

Eima quickly covered the tomato seed and moved over to the next spot digging a little hole for the third time. At least now she could plant without always looking over her shoulder for her dad who, after him and her mom had got in a fight, promised that he would come back and kill them one day. She wasn't sure why he had gotten so made. him and her mom had gotten in fights all the time but Eima had been very young at the time and there was probably something more behind the many arguments that she didn't see do to her age.

Eima moved over a little to the next spot and began planting the last of the tomato seeds. All that was in the past now and she didn't have to worry about her father or mothers death any more now that she was in her new home. Now she could sit back and relax doing her everyday jobs and what she loved like taking care of the horses and even being out here in the field planting tomato seeds that would feed the pack for months to come.

She slowly stood up dusting of her legs and hands as she looked down at her work. Before her where four little bumps on the ground where she had planted the seeds and where they would grow to be large tomato plants that would give her and the tribe tomatoes to eat for the year.

OOC: Hope you don’t mind me joining in Big Grin

WC:305

Lili was coming back from an afternoon run, she didn’t know much about Aniwaya yet, but she was determined although she’d run to her old living grounds where her parents now lay, it was far enough from the border to keep her all day, but it was worth it, he wasn’t sure if she could give them weekly visits, but knowing that they passed away it wouldn’t matter to them. It just mattered to her, she loved her parents with all her heart, after her father had been killed her mother stopped eating. She never wanted to see another wolf do that ever again. As she was running back to her new hut that she hoped no one lived in… it was empty to the bone, she spotted someone in the dirt. She tilted her head as she stopped to see what she was doing. She only caught the last bit where she was covering something up.

Hello there,

She said making sure the other wolf knew she was present, she’d only met the chief and another wolf in the tribe, so she was anxious to meet others, but she was rather shy, although she knew the meaning of privacy and that if someone thinks they are alone they should be, and she didn’t want the wolf to think she was spying on her. This wolf had the scent of the soil that she’d been digging around in and something familiar, horses! This was a good thing, Lili loved horses, maybe she was one of the caretakers? If so she was sure they would definitely be good friends, well hopefully.

I’m…I’m sorry to interrupt you, I was uh… curious about what you’re doing.

She said after a moment’s pause. She was quite nervous, hopefully she wasn’t interrupting something private or something she shouldn’t have seen.
