Princess was no longer upset about having been told she was not pretty a few weeks ago, though she had been avoiding seeing anyone, even after the pack meeting where the change in leadership had been announced. That had not affected her in the least, as she had never even laid eyes on the former King. The only problem with the change had been that it had seemed to anger Haven, and it certainly had made Ruri very upset. That had made Princess sad, as she liked the gray and white Dauphine. Seeing her so visibly upset had not been very pleasant. It seemed that things had returned to the calm state she had experienced upon her initial arrival, though, and she had no complaints about that. A little bit of excitement every now and then was good, but she liked when things were calm and quiet. It was more natural.

The young woman had returned to the hotel today. She had been very careful in choosing her outfit today—her white, silky halter dress, with her hair pinned back with the jewelled ladybug clip that she had been given ages ago, the dragonfly still glittering at the dip of her bossom—on the off chance that she might run into Strelein again. It simply would not be acceptable for her to find him again wearing the same dress as before, though she did love the color of the purple dress. Princess had wandered up to the second floor of the hotel today, and she was walking down the hall, looking at the different aged paintings that had been hung in the days of the humans. Some were uninteresting, but the one she was studying was a picture that looked like it was very angry. The scene depicted the ocean, but a storm was brewing. Her brow furrowed; why would they want to paint something that looked so unhappy and then use it to decorate?
