Cara loped down the rocky hill side to a small creek, The autumn breeze blowing gave her a nice breeze that flitted through her golden main. Sitting on her haunches she knelt down and began to drink; it had been a while since she had found a nice place to take a rest. tilting her head up she caught a scent, it was still very faint since it was down wind but it was still pungent, pack lands. Quickly Cara loped back up the hill to stay away from the border of the land. Thank god she hadn't went any farther up stream or else that would of caused major trouble. "This could be my chance....maybe I could join a pack again!"
Without even thinking it through Cara tilted her head back and let out a howl, it was throaty and low at first then became louder and higher with intensity. This was for sure to catch at least one wolves attention, but then again she didn't know how large this packs land was so she might not have been heard at all. The howl echoed off of the rocky hills into the valley; creating ominous anticipation which made Cara pace with her head and tail turned down to the ground.
