here ya go ^^

The sun was rising up on this autumn morning. The time of year when the leaves would change color and eventually depart from the tree and making refuge on the soft grass. Yet, they would dry up, then shrivle, making them fragile and easy crush under the feet of animals. It was strange season, Autumn, yet it made way for the fun activities of Winter, bringing with it white, pure snow.

The sun's rays broke through the window of a dark room, lighting it with a calm, orange color. Rustling under soft blankets did the wolfess poke her head out, her eyes getting accustomed to the sudden change in lighting. Wiping away the sleep from her eyes, she stood up out of bed. She stretched her limbs, crackling and popping her bones, groaning. She walked to the door to exit the room, opening and closing the old door.

There was minor slience in the corridors. The only noise she heard were some low voices coming from the room all the way up the corridor. She didn't want to bother them. She made her way to the stairs, climbing down them to the hall.

OOC: Denali’s mask picture is in his profile thread!.

This was Denali’s first autumn and he wasn’t liking it very much at all. He was cold, so very cold and he was still inside. He shivered and stared outside, where the winds were even colder, he didn’t like it not one bit. He had repeated that to himself for some time now, he wanted to return to the others upstairs, but he knew that his playmates were having fun out there in the cold crisp autumn day. He on the other hand refused to go outside, not like that. He wore his mask on the back of his neck, a place where it would stay forever… well till mamma told him to take it off for bed, but other than that it would stay on the back of his neck, the string wrapped around the front of his neck, so that the mask had fur for eyes. He didn’t care that he wasn’t using it the way it was meant to, he was using it the way he wanted to. He sat shivering, wondering how anyone could enjoy the cold weather.

His ears twitched as he heard someone descending the stairs, and he looked to see the white wolf he’d met before… what was her name again? F? F what? Fly? Well he thought that was what he could get. He smiled up at her.

Hi! I haven’t seen you in a while.

His puppy voice rang in the loud open room, making him shiver a little more, he wished that there was a way to keep warm in this blasted cold and he doubted he’d live longer if it got even colder.

Flayra had stepped down the last step on the wooden staircase. She could hear the wind outside, knowing that today was going to be a bit cold. She luckily she hadn't anything to do. So, for now, she could stay by a warm fire, maybe a bit of the piano, then out back to the garden. Oh yeah, she had planned her day and her plan Bs. But first, some breakfast.

She turned a corner to another, took a bit of a surprised when a pup appeared from nowhere and startled her. Looking down at the small canine, she recognized who it was. Little Denali, the pup that 'helped' her with her garden. He was actually a big help then. She smiled and greeted him. "Oh, hello, Denali. How are you this morning?"

WC: 332

He watched as the white wolf descend from the stairs, how come she was just find and he was freezing? Why did the cold seem to bother him more than anyone else, he looked up at her, and smiled at her greeting, and he wished that he could remember her name as quickly as she remembered his.

V-very cold.

He said his little teeth chattering, he sat with his paws and tail as close as possible thinking that would be what kept him warm. She seemed so comfortable, the old drafty house couldn’t keep out all the cold even with a big fire, and he was not smart enough to really understand that there were places where it was warm, he just knew it was way too cold outside.

Sorry, please don't be mad with me

She looked down at the little pup, examining him carefully, sseing that he was cold from the weather. She did not have a problem with the cold because, to her, it wasn't really cold. There was the possibility that everyone was different, both interests, thoughts, and body temperature. She had a strong will, which might have something to do with her being warm, or thinking that it is warm.

She smiled at the cold pup. "Oh, that's no good. Why aren't you in front of the fire? That helps most of the time." She looked away from the pup for a moment to check to see the fire was still going. Maybe it might need more wood. "Looks like it need more wood. Maybe that will help." She moved past the small wolf, bending down and throwing some more pieces of wood onto the warm fire.
