She felt like she needed more to do in the pack. Grace was becoming more and more independent, and Addi was starting to try her hand at doing a few things around Phoenix Valley as she gained more and more free time. The luperci had tried scouting, hunting, and even fishing, but hadn't found any task that she really enjoyed yet. She would just have to try some other things.
Today she would attempt to build something. There were a few fence posts that were rotten and that needed replacing, and it sounded like a good task for the afternoon. She had brought a shovel with her to dig them out and new pieces of wood around the same size. She'd also brought a few woodworking tools that she had found, hoping that they would be of some use when she got the new posts in the ground.
The short gray and brown luperci had two of the new posts in by the time the sun was beginning to set, but it didn't look like she would be getting the third in. Her hands were dirty and her fur matted with soil as well, in some places. Not wanting anyone to see her like that, she hastened to pick up her tools and the remaining piece of good wood and began the trip back to the rest of the ranch. It had been a pretty satisfying day, overall.
