Tala had been brought up that touching to express feeling and emotion was only something you did to someone who was very close to you, such as family or a mate. Though over the next two years she had associated touch with aggression and pain. She knew that was not what things were like for pack life, and that things like that would only happen now in disputes and fights. Though Tala wasn't exactly the most keen on getting involved in those situations anyway. Tala was more key on talking a way out of it or just removing herself from the situation. Though Noah showed obvious scars of being more involved in those circumstances, Tala had been faced with a fair share of possible scraps in her wandering days.

The words Noah spoke made her smile and she looked up at him with bright eyes and perked ears. "You make me happy too Noah. Thank you, for being so kind." She let her head nuzzle his front leg slightly in reassurance as she finished speaking. The male seemed brighter in his eyes than he had been before she met him, and she doubted it had anything to do directly with herself, though she was still just as pleased that the male seemed happier. If one of her pack members, let alone a friend, needed, or wanted, her help. She would be there for them. Noah was no different. Tala felt especially close to this male for some reason. She pinned it on how well they connected. He reminded her of the brother she never had. Having no siblings she could not tell for sure, but she assumed this was what it was like to have a sibling. Words were almost not needed to know exactly what he was thinking. It was completely new to Tala, and she was enjoying it.

She was so kind to him and it was kind of strange how she was so in tuned of his need and wants and he use very little words to express him-self and yet she still understood him when he did try to talk. It was nice no it was wonderful to be around some one that understood him so well, and nether of the two were trying to impress each other...it was just naturally, a natural bliss. With a tag of his tail the male watched her nuzzle into the front of his leg, with a high pitched woof the pack wolf lowered his head down nipping softly be hide her ear closest to him as he looked at her in a protective means.
For the beast that was use to abuse and hate, it was nice breath of fresh air to meet someone so willing to be kind to someone they just meet. The male was so happy that he made her so happy and all he had to do was just be there with her and offer her his protection if anything would to come her way that she needed him for. Not that he would be much of a help, but he would still offer it up to her no matter what the cost would be. He smiled at her, offering a small nuzzle at her shoulder as he moved closer to her, keeping the warmth of the two bodies close as he could get, it was mighty cold out there.

Tala's whole body flinched when he nipped at her ear. It was something she was used to pups doing to each other, playing and nipping. Tala couldn't remember the last time she actually did anything remotely similar to playing until now. Tala felt like this was her brother she hadn't seen in years. They were so in tune and relaxed with each other some might not actually know. That was how Tala felt anyway. When the silver male barked Tala laughed, his exclamation quite evident. Tala excuse of a tail wagged slightly, the stump showing her content alongside the smile on her face.

Looking up at the silver brute Tala's amber eyes watched him. For one who had so many scars of abuse and ware physically, he was such a kind being. She knew all to many who were corrupted by abuse and neglect. It was a relief to see that the path most took had not enveloped Noah. It said a great deal about his will and character. Tala blinked as she felt more snow begin to fall, a single flake landing close to her eye, causing her to blink until her heat melted the dancing ice. Shaking her body slightly Tala huffed, the more snow began to fall the more she hated it. The warmth of the male did help substantially, but the cold of the winter still crept to her skin through her thick fluffy fur. The grey dappled female was rather fine with it all, considering she was laying on the beach in the middle of winter. She must be crazy, if she was willing enough to not suggest movement.

WC: 400+ I am sorry for rambeling and for the sucky post and for making you wait. Also Merry Christmas :3
It was true that the male had seen and been the victim of far too many attacks. Some from his own father, some by the pack leader, and some by his own children. However Noah felt sorry for his father, he understood why the Alpha did it, and the children were just a product of their father. The silver male almost pitted them for the hate that they held in there heart’s. Noah was not without hate though but he was not the child that his mother and father should have had. One would say that he hated those leaders that just up and leave there pack for no reason. If the leader hadn’t left her pack Noah might not be in the place he was in now, well psychically and mentally wise.
Standing at her side the male felt the warmth that her body had to offer him, and he was just as equally sure that his body had a lot of warmth to offer her in return. The snow feel from the sky above onto the two as the night moved on though the lands. The male watched a flake fall down and land ever so softly upon her face as it melted away from the warmth of her body’s own heat. The male did love this lady at his side, though not like the Angel he had left back at Unwritten. NO he would almost say like he loved Jazper and his other family members. It was just strange that a huge part of his blood lines where here in this one pack.
As the night moved further on into the Valley, the silver beat could feel the wear from the day coming upon his body, he was no longer the young pup that he once was, and was able to run and play. The Sawtooth was slowly aging, and would surely end up with a little shorter life from the past years worth of abuse. Looking around the male could smell the smoke coming from the cabin nearby. Standing up the male gave the female a soft nudge, they could spend the night in that house and then in the morning go for a hunt get some food in there stomach(even though Noah really couldn’t hunt) and be about their own missions for the pack. His rolled his head over point towards where he could smell the smoke coming from. Maybe she might get the idea of what he was saying.

Merry Christmas! 3+

Tala's mind had become lost in thought as she lay in the sand-snow mixture. Though the snow underneath her had melted quickly the snow gathering all around her, minus the area Noah blocked, seemed to be gathering and seeping at her skin. Though her mind was lost in previous affairs with packs she did not know the names of and lost faces she had come across but barely knew, the wish to have known them better before their departure stung in her gut. Knowing somebody and then losing them after a short period of time seemed to be running in a never ending pattern in her life. She hoped so dearly that being part of the Valley would cure her of her curse. To be able to have friends, even family for longer than a few months at a time would be a whole new thing to her. She would consider herself blessed if it worked out in such a way. She would be ever thankful to Pheonix Valley for accepting her and allowing her to have it.

Having the body next to her begin to shuffle caused her mind to snap back to reality, her state going from less dazed to completely aware once more. Her amber eyes showed confusion as he began to nudge back towards the packlands and away from the beach. Turning her head to the side she gave him a curious look. Though it was getting both darker and colder, she wasn't sure who's cabin that was, or why he wanted to go to it. "Who does that cabin belong to, Noah? I'd hate to intrude on someone as they were beginning to relax for the night. Though the thought of curling up next to a fire is very lovely right about now." A small smile curled onto her lips as she shuffled her feet and pulled herself off the ground. Shaking sand and snow from her pelt she stretched out her limbs. If they must, she'd not mind a bit if he stayed at her cabin. It was cozy, and not all to far in the end.

Having the day pass as quickly as it seemed to have was almost odd to Tala, being so content that time seemed to gallop by their very faces was something she wasn't used to. Time used to be a stress to the female, but now it seemed the absolute opposite.

Out of Character

<3 WC:300+

In Character

It was getting late, far too late to stay out at the beach. It would have been finding if it was still summer, or even the other two seasons as long as the weather was still warm. However, it was ever so clear that it was still in the winter season. Noah couldn’t allow any member to stay out in the cold weather on his account. The male kept his nose down keeping track of what little scent he was able to pick up. Lifting his head at the sound of the pack member voice the male shrugged his shoulders with a grunt could smell many of scents some newer and most older however none where that that made up the scent of the pack now. ”I can nunn..nun..noieeee…not smell any uh..unn…one.” His voice cracked and stuttered, no matter how kind she was as just about everyone he had meet, he still just did not care for the sound of his own messed up voice. It just wasn’t something that said “I know what I am talking about” to Noah it said “I’m a stupid fool that cannot be trusted.” So he feared that others would view him with that in mind.

The Sawtooth could smell the warm scent of burning wood, however it smelled like it was an older fire, maybe one that was started earlier in the day that someone just let die. If that was the case the two might as well take full use of the cabin, after all he was not in plans to lay claims to a cabin anytime soon. He was more than happy sleeping in the farm house. Where the kitchen was and where the huge fire place was.

Coming to the door of the cabin the male lowered his head, pushing in front just a bit as he sniffed around the area with haste. Happy with not finding anything to off of the norm the male pawed at the door till it opened, pushing it open the male held it for her, as he dipped his head down.

Tala knew that staying out much later would not end well, in both the frigid cold and the harsh snow the nights in Nova Scotia during the winter season was not kind to creatures. Anything that was meant to dwell during the lighter hours did not cope well with the harsh nights this terrain set before them. Tala had learned this the heard way to many times in the past and she was not keen on experiencing it again. In response to her question Noah's answer had her moderatly content, if someone had set the fire earlier in the day and left it to dwindle out on it's own, thus leaving the ehated cabin vacant Tala would not feel any guilt with taking advantage of the gift left behind. Spending the night in a warm cabin tucked away from cold and night was not something Tala would easily pass up. "If it's not currently being used then alright." The silver male was making it quite apparent he did not want to spend a moment more out on the beach. The dappled fae did not blame him one bit.

As Tala followed him up the shallow bank and further back towards the Valley Canter she was silent as the large male led the way, she had no issue with following behind. Though the tri coloured female did halt when he paused to check for any inhabitants. Tala could smell nobody herself, and guessing by the way he pushed the door open without hesitation meant he had found no further clues of canine life. Tala gave a soft smile and dipped her head in silent thanks as he held the door open for her. "Why thank you, Noah." The delicately framed female made her way inside quickly, the still warmed cabin quickly became a haven as the warmth caused her bones to suddenly notice the chill of winter. The female quickly made her way to the aged couch and pulled a cushion off, letting it plop to the floor she picked it up with her jaw and set it closer to the fire. The female stretched out hr limbs before letting herself lay half on the pillow, her shoulder and head resting on it while her body curled around to greet her. Now, this was a good idea. You're quite brilliant Noah, I can give you that. The fae spoke with a grin of content on her face. The thought of returning so far home to her own cabin now seemed utterly silly.

Watching the lady as she moved from out side to in the house the male was glad to have someone to talk to for a short while longer while not having to deal with the harsh winter weather. As she walked past the male gave a short wag of his tail as he then stepped inside, lowering his body down as he flexed his paw under the door, bringing it to a shut in front of his face. Kicking the old tattered rug in front of the door, he made a little draft protection as he walked over to the fire pit putting a few smaller pieces of wood on it. Blowing softly upon the embers, the male was happy to see the fire starting to take off again. Turning around, he saw that she had already made her-self a spot by the fire to keep warm. He was quite happy to see that she was able to be so relaxed around him. Walking over the couch that she had gotten her pillow from the male pulled down a blanket and laid it on the floor, as he stretched out on it.

Her words brought hotness to him; he felt blushed and could feel his blood rushing to his face. He lowered his head and pushed his ears back against his head as he pulled his tail into him. He didn’t think he was all that special he just learned a few tricks with her age on keeping warm and how live in the human lands. It also helped him when he was living with his father in Twilight Vale, when he would lock up both him and his litter mate to go out and try to find a tail to sleep with for that hour. Who could really expect a wild child to stay locked up all day all night was quite foolish. ”Erm…..Thanks…I fh…in…fhi…th..thu…think”

Tala let out a long exhale to show the content she was feeling as the cold was being chased from her body and replaced by a solid warmth. This was nice, very nice. The thought of going back to her own cabin now was long gone. She was quite content with spending the night here and relaxing while , maybe, talking to Noah. If he felt like doing any talking that is. Her eyes were only half open at times as she watched the male place wood onto the nearly dead fire and blow onto it to bring it new life. She heard it crackle slightly as the new baby flames reached their host, attaching like leeches, very warm and relaxing leeches.

As Noah moved to settle himself on the floor as well Tala let her limbs stretch out with a long sigh before once more curling back up into a makeshift wolf ball. His words made her smile and she nodded. She got the just of what the stuttering male was trying to tell her."You're not very used to receiving compliments are you, Noah? Well you should be, you're a wonderful man." She had no issue with telling him this, her tone was casual yet friendly. She felt like this was her big brother, so she meant nothing more to it than what the words said. Noah was wonderful, he did not deserve those scars.

Tala felt sleep trying to overcome her, but she denied it of the privilege. She wanted to stay awake and enjoy the warmth and the company of her friend. Falling asleep so soon was both rude and no fun at all. She got the habit from her father, put her in front of a fire and she was out like a light. The fae let her eyes shut for a moment, but she forced them back open to watch the silver male in front of her. She was so relaxed around him, it was as if they'd been friends since they were puppies

Watching the lady’s eyes growing heavier and heavier the silver male felt awful for making her stay awake for his own personal pleasure. Guilt washed over him, he knew that she would not just pack up and leave and he might never see her again, after all they called the same pack lands home, and they seemed to really enjoy each other’s company, or if she didn’t she was a really good liar which the Sawtooth male was not worried about, after all she would not have offered to help him learn to control his stuttering issues if she was such a being. Standing up the male stretched out his back legs, only stopping to grunt once as he shifted off his bad leg, Oh how the winter and the coldness and even the change in pressure in the air hurt his shoulder. Moving over to were the dapple lady laid the male came up to her side stepping over her as he lowered his head down nipping softly at her shoulder area, as he started to groom her with all hopes of making her so relaxed that she would just fall asleep that way Noah no longer felt bad about keeping her awake.

He rolled his shoulders at her question, or wait was it a complement. Either way she was right he wasn’t use to getting them, nor did the silver male know how to take them, ” I guess.” He muttered as he lowered his head down as he went back to grooming her. Stopping again as he knew that the breeding season was fast approaching, he gulped almost like he was scared that she thought he was trying to be to fresh, he stopped lifting his head up, ”Go to sl..le…eeeee….sl…sheep…sleep. He finally was able to spit out the last word as he gave her a kind nuzzle on the side of her shoulder, trying to let her know that he was not going to go anywhere and that she was safe with him.

Time Goes Faster

Tala seemed to be intoxicated by the warmth and crackle of the fire as it illuminated the small cabin with it's dancing light. It glowed, a soothing light that seemed to have the same effect on her as the heartbeat of a mother would have on her tired pup. It was like something she had grown so accustomed to it eased all strains off her mind and set her sleep free. Tala did not want to be rude and just fall asleep while her friend was still wide awake. Leaving him in the cabin alone and awkward. She would never wish to do that to anybody.

Though as if he had read her mind he stepped over and began to room her pelt. Her eyes opened to give him a questioning glance, though it was awfully relaxing. It was not for a moment that the femme was thinking he was trying to go somewhere with his actions. Even if he was Tala thought of him as a brother like figure. She was not interested in being more than the closest of friends with the silver male. His words to sleep caused her to nod briefly before letting her head rest back on the pillow. Her eyes shut and she let out a long exhale of content. Tala already knew that the two shared a sort of 'silent bond' that she and him would be close. If the two didn't speak they still understood, she didn't have that with anybody else, she never has. It was unique, but she didn't plan on changing anything anytime soon. Sleep hit her hard and it hit her fast. Her breathing became silent and her rise and fall of her chest was in a set timed motion. She was out like a light, a content smile set upon her maw.

I belive we are done! We can move onto our next thread. Thanks for the super cute thread :3
WC:333

He saw it in her eyes, she wanted to sleep so bad, the male was more than happy to help her find that sleep that she was fighting, though then he really would not be helping then would he? Oh well. He gave a slow rhythmic sway to how he moved his tail. He would not stop at any measure to help her find that sleep. Well okay he might have to draw a line somewhere, but snuggling, grooming and nuzzles or even whispering soft lullabies to her ears he was more than fine with doing if it meant helping her in any way. He was able to see the trust that she allowed him to have over her body. It made the male feel great knowing that someone trusted him that much, though Noah guessed it did help that she did not have any clue what so ever that his father was a repeat rapist. The Sawtooth male watched her lay her head back down onto her pillow, closing her eyes the male didn’t stop when she laid her head down he waited till her breathing got deeper and slower. He wanted to make sure that her whole body had shut down for the night before he made his next move. He could feel her heart slow down as her breathing almost became like a soft sore. The male slowed way down on his grooming of her back till he had all together stopped lifting his head seeing if her eyes would open. Pleased when she did not open even an eye the male stepped over her again as he laid down in near the fire with his good eye towards the door in case anyone thought it would be funny to break in. With a yawn the male looked at the fire and then closed his own eyes, rolling with his back towards her while keeping the warmth of the fire on him. Time where good, yes indeed. Times where good!
