1.)
Kibo ran around with her brother's and sister's. She was only two weeks old, yet she was strong and healthy. She ran to her mom, her stomach growling. She nipped at her mom's leg playfully. Her mother peered down at her with twinkling eyes. Kibo barked with affection towards her. Her mom lay down gently, while Kibo latched onto a teet and began her evening meal.

She was plump and adorable and fell asleep, mid-meal. Her mother laughed and picked her up by the scruff of her neck. She motioned for the other 3 pups to follow her. She led them to a small cave where a big he-wolf lay. He grinned up at his mate and took Kibo in his strong jaws. He lay her in-between his legs and licked her head gently. She was the chosen wolf, to someday take over the pack. Her name means Hope. And that is what her mother and father had in her future. Soon the small family would be returning to the packlands and everyone would meet the newborns.
Kibo's father was the Alpha of the pack, and her mother the Alphess. They both held their heads high, with no fears and many followers. They had a huge pack set on acres and acres of land with at least 25 members. The alpha had already picked out a male as her mate.

Kibo woke up and peered up at her father. Her blue eyes shone in the dim light of the cave and she snuggled into his fur. She sighed, thinking about the day that would come soon, the day that would be packed with fun and sunshine and playing with her littermates.

2.)
Kibo was growing quick and her father had decided it was time for her to meet her soon-to-be mate. His name was Kuna. Kibo walked along her father's side, wondering what her mate would be like. She smiled to herself, imagining a big strong wolf with a white pelt like her own. He had green eyes and a kind heart. Her dream image was half-way right. He was big and strong, but he had jet black fur and ugly yellow eyes. He was scraggly and ugly and seemed to be harsh and rude. Kuna spoke in a scratchy voice, Hello Kibo. He dipped his head at Kibo.

She smiled out of respect, though she wanted to attack her father. Hi Kuna. Her father left them alone to talk. As soon as he was out of ear-shot Kuna turned to her, Look, I am not so happy about this either, I don't want to be some prissy little princesses mate. So just go along, "fall in love" and shut up.!
Kibo gasped in anger, she bared her teeth at him and growled, You have no right to talk to me like that!
Kuna growled and jumped on Kibo. He locked onto her neck, biting down, making blood shoot to the surface. She yelped in pain and tried to squirm out of his grasp. He let go for a split second but locked back down harder. He shook his head, tearing the skin open and making blood pour from her neck.

Kibo's father heard the yelp and bolted towards the wolves. He saw Kuna on top of Kibo and pounced on him. Kuna's grip was released from Kibo and he was pinned to the ground by the Alpha, who was tearing Kuna's flesh. Blood spread around in the crisp white snow. Kuna yelped and cried, but the Alpha had no mercy he wouldn't stop until Kuna was dead. If Kibo had seen what was happening, she would have tried to stop it. But she was turned the other way, coughing up blood and whimpering.

At last Kuna's crys faded and stopped. The Alpha removed himself from on top of him. His brown pelt was drenched in blood. He growled at the dead body and walked to his daughter. She was laying down in shock. The Alpha picked her up and set him on his back. He walked her to the medicane cave, where she began to heal.

3.)
It had been three months since she was attacked. Kibo was still staying in the medicane cave. Her father had been sleeping with her in the cave for the past month. She had been trying to convince him to sleep with her mother but he always refused. She hated this. She had been planning on leaving the pack for the past two months. The night she was going to leave her father began to sleep in the cave, it's like he knew or something.

She had been sleeping when her father walked in. She woke up, looking up at him. Hello Father.
Hi.
She had to think quick. She didn't really know what to say but she made a guess. Dad, I am fine on my own tonight. I would like some more room to sleep, please just stay with Mother. Her dad looked at her with annoyed eyes. Fine. He walked out of the cave and walked the mile to his cave. Kibo grinned and sighed a sigh of relive. She whispered good-bye to him as he walked out. She got up, looking around in the cave for any herb she could use on her journey, incase her neck started to act up.

She waited until the last guard had gone in for the night and she walked out into the night. It was the beginning of spring and the night was brisk and airy. It had been a long time since she was outside and her legs felt wonderful to be able to move in a long stride again. She broke into a brisk trot and made her way to the easiest border to cross. It was a small forest. She took a deep breath and walked into it. It was darker than she thought but she ingnored it. She tried to walk in a straight line but wandered off a little to the left. She got a little lost but managed to find a trail that led right to the other end.

She continued on walking, not really knowing where she was going. She didn't exactly care, she just wanted to get away from her pack. The first streaks of sunrise entered the sky and she stopped. She was tiered so she lay down gently on the cold ground and slept until it was dark. She woke up and continued on the imaginary trail. She kept going, resting only during the day. She travled for two months, before she reached the Souls land.
