Belle was less weary. The poor thing; he walked more now in sympathy with her, and had not ridden her at all this last day. After all, she walked no faster than him, but she did carry the satchels of goods, and boy were they heavy. Luckily, some of the weight disappeared as they consumed food from what he had brought along, but that helped little towards lessening her burden. On the journey from Anathema to Phoenix Valley, it had become clear to him that she would require a longer rest. After all, they had traveled from AniWaya to Inferni in one long stretch, only stopping to eat or sleep, and now he was zig-zagging her across the map, from one territory to another. Not only this, but she was unfamiliar with the wolves who greeted her master, and he could sense that she was on edge whenever they appeared, and throughout his meeting with them. It was understandable; most wolves would perhaps consider her prey. Dawali would have done so too, had it not been for having learnt that her uses far exceeded that of simple sustenance. It sounded cynical, but it was not, and he felt a deep affection for the animal. Liliana claimed they could be communicated with on some level, and though Dawali could only manage to direct her with his movements or soothe her with soft words, he knew very well that they were intelligent creatures. Far more so than the bull they had captured almost a year ago now. He showed her the same respect he would have any other weary companion, and they spent many hours more than they had needed to to travel south to their ally's territories. Belle was not as alert here, for she recognized this scent, and it was good that she could relax better.

Dawali called for someone and anyone. Jefferson would be a likely candidate, however the Chief did not wish to disturb the male in case he found no patience for trades. Dawali would not respond to everyone who came calling at their own borders unless they called for him specifically; he wouldn't have time. It was a good thing that he had trusted members that could handle any trades that might knock on their door, without having to involve him in it. He did not mind who came to his call, and settled comfortably on a rug as he waited for whoever it would be who came. The Chief was looking forward to this, with absolutely no worries in his heart. He knew he could walk across their borders (probably) if he wanted to, but this one was always polite. Besides, this was no situation to speak of at all. It would not justify his intrusion, and he did not wish to harm the relationship between the two packs. The Chief sat calmly as he waited, thinking of his luck in the fact that Phoenix Valleys help had not yet been needed. It was a comforting thought, much as it was comfortable to remember the safety in having an ally.

Noah was still learning the in and out’s of the pack lands, he had just gathered enough respect in the eyes of the member to have the luck to be able to claim his own cabin. Before that he stayed in the main house, he watched the cows and made sure that they were taken care of. They belonged to Phoenix Valley; Noah didn’t let a being that didn’t have the scent of the pack land on their coat around these cows. He had actually started to gain the trust of some of the younger ones. It had to have been there first winter. The bulls did not seem fazed by him, and the heifers at first was really jumpy and easily spooked by him, but now they just looked at him gave him a roll of their eyes and then went back to eating the grass. Noah enjoyed watching the calf’s growing, and getting to know each of their personalities.
The silver hued male was out in the field messing around with the water, making sure that their water wasn’t frozen over, which today it was. He walked in it and heard the faint cracking sounds under his paws, with a smile he walked over and to the bank sitting down, and then lifting up onto his back paws as he fell forward smacking the ice, the Valley pack member repeated the process a few more times till the ice cracked open. Making sure that the bigger ice was gone the male was pleased with him-self. With a wag of his tail he turned around to go move one of the mother’s to the water.
At first the Fuerre thought the sound that made him stop in his action was the wind coming off the water, and then it whipped back around and hit him again as it echoed off the barn. The male lowered his head standing up, shaking his coat off, the male took off at a limping run. He pushed the pain into the back of his mind as he came to the borders smelling the scent of one of the other packs. He wasn’t sure which pack it was, he still was learning the scent and what lands went with each pack. As soon as the Sawtooth male spotted the chief standing at the borders with feathers in his mane. With a horse at the Chief’s side, and bags upon her back. The male nodded a hello to leader. ”May I hu..hu…help you?” The silver beast kept his good eye upon him as he shifted off his bad shoulder.
