All Welcome :] | 391 words

It had been days since his brother's death. He had locked himself inside his room. He had only came out to find his father with another upset pack member but other than that he only removed himself from his room to eat and take care of Blitzen and Donder. Yes, he was taking care of Blitzen now that Izaak was gone. He wanted to; Sas saw how Zak was around Blitzen and he didn't want something his brother loved to die or be alone. Blitzen, in some way, was a part of Zak and he didn't want that part to be taken away from him as well.

Sascha pulled himself out of bed and put on his only pair of beat up green pants. He grabbed his club and strapped it to his back and hung his bag with his means of communication on his shoulder before heading out. The scowl he usually sported was slightly stronger as he left the room, closing the door behind him. He headed out of the mansion and made his way to where Donder and Blitzen would be waiting for him. It was the middle of the day and he needed to give them lunch. Maybe he would actually allow them to walk about more than he has been letting them. The poor boy hasn't been in the mood to be adventurous; he never really was to begin with but his brother's death had made it worse than before.

He made his way to the back of the building and his red eyes fell on his two pets. They seemed happy to see him, his baby buffalo and his brother's albino reindeer. He had a basket beside their dens that had food for them to eat. He had gathered lots of grass, carrots, and other things that buffalo and reindeer ate. He pulled out some dried grass and held it in his hands. It only took a couple of steps before he was before Donder and he held the feed the the animal's mouth. Happily, he ate as Sascha began to blow raspberries; something he did often. Once the baby orange buffalo was finished, he grabbed another handful and continued the process until he was satisfied, all while continuing to make noise with his mouth. He would then move to Blitzen who was waiting patiently.

Snatching this up! 300+ words.

Her hand knocked over a bottle of whiskey as she reached for it on the makeshift table beside her makeshift bed. The reunion with her grandmother had left her exhausted the night before, and all she had done was find her way to the mansion to sleep, staggering up the stairs and into one of the central rooms. No one had argued her choice in living quarters, as no one had lived in the room before her. At least not that she could see.

She was still foggy as the glass shattered on the floor; that drew her out of the daze she was left in. Sitting upright with a quick jerk of her torso, she glanced around the room with crimson eyes. "Is someone there?" she murmured, surveying the room with a silent sense of fear. Andrezej was dead, but he haunted her at all moments. It took a minute to realize it had been her own noise that woke her so abruptly; as she gazed down at the shattered glass, she heaved a deep sigh. "My last bottle."

It meant she'd have to go find some more. A heavy groan gave prelude to her movements out of bed, shifting and standing in the puddle of amber liquid; she held her throbbing head as she made her way to the doorframe. The liquor had left its mark. Her skull was on fire, the lights were bright. She was half-tempted to simply sit back down and lay there.

She couldn't, of course. She was already up and she needed her vices as much as the next person. With tenative, stumbling steps, she found her way down the stairs, through the halls and into the kitchen before stepping outside into the snowy lands of Inferni. It was cold, but she didn't seem to notice; after all, she was usually too drunk to give a damn.

Her crimson eyes swept from side to side, settling on an interesting group of young bovine-esque creatures with a young Luperci male. Curiosity piqued as she watched; he was feeding them. With soft steps, she made her way towards the male, keeping a distance so as not to startle his...pets.

"Interesting choices in pets." Her voice was soft, coming out as a crooning murmur rather than something that could be considered actual speech.

OOC: Sorry for the wait and thanks for jumping in! <333 | 317 words

He blew raspberries as Blitzen finished eating the carrot and then he moved on to feed Donder some dry grass he had stored. When he fed Donde for the first time, it felt weird feeling his lips against his hands as he ate. He wondered if the baby buffalo would bite him but he had yet to do so. Not much time had past sens he became his but within that small amount of time; the thought of Donder nipping him no longer presented itself in his mind. He trusted the young buffalo, along with the reindeer.

He had expected himself to be alone, like he always was. He hasn't met many other people, not like he had been trying to be sociable or anything; he wasn't too confident for that. Thanks to how his mother raised him, he was too shy to mingle with others. He didn't even think others would want to approach him either. He believed he didn't look interesting enough, that he didn't look approachable at all. How could anyone become interested in talking with him? That was what he thought and yet, he was surprised by a voice from behind. It wasn't the type of surprise that would cause the boy to jump; it was a "I-didn't-expect-to-have-company" kind of surprise. He turned to see a female with the same color eyes as his who appeared interested in his pets. Donder was finished eating by this time so he was able to reach into his bag and pull out his book and pen to communicate with her, keeping his common frown on his face. Thanks. He wrote and held it up for her to read. His stance exposed nothing confident about him. Believing she had seen his message, he began writing again. Donder. Blitzen. He showed it to her again; the names in the order she would see them from left to right.

<3 This should be interesting. Talitha can't read. XD

She was quiet while she watched, studying the small orange male. There was something familiar, too familiar, about him. About his markings, his color. She couldn't place it for a moment, but the memories came to her. Orange, white, German words she couldn't begin to understand. Cotl Ulrich. Somehow this boy looked just like Cotl Ulrich. Her fingers fell to her hip, covering the Chaos Star there as her thoughts swirled with thoughts of the previous fall.

He seemed surprised as she spoke, turning to face her. Her crimson eyes fell to his hands as she watched him reach for something. It looked like a book, like her journal that had been left in her cache while she was gone. The boy wrote something, and turned the book so she could see. Just a bunch of jumbled letters, some she had seen before but none that she could read. Her face twitched in vague distress, eyes passing over the man again. He wrote his words down, but he didn't speak them. She realized why on her second pass over his features; his neck appeared heavily scarred, hidden by the marking she had seen on Cotl.

True to her usual days, she pretended as if she had seen what was on the pages, as if she had understood. Her fingers curled, glancing to the albino reindeer. "I remember that. I helped a little boy catch it in the autumn," she offered. A little boy who was similar to Izaak, but who didn't have scent on the land anymore. In the back of her mind, she wondered where he was.

OOC: OMG this should be very interesting! and ...so sorry for being lame >.< | 310 words

Sascha had no idea the woman couldn't read and that would probably remain as so until she informed him. Believing everything was fine he dropped his hands, the book to his one side and the pen (in the other hand) to his other side. He studied her appearance, taking notice that she had similar eyes to his own, and he was sure this was the first time he met her. The feeling of wanting to stand behind something was present but he tried to ignore it. He had to; there wasn't anything to hide behind. It wasn't like she looked threatening but Sascha wasn't the most confident creatures on the planet and that was thanks to how he was raised. Even his stance displayed awkwardness and weakness.

He followed her glacne to Blitzen, turning his head so that his eyes fell on the pale reindeer. The opening of his pointed ear aimed at her as she spoke. From what she had told him, he knew who she spoke of. The corner of this black lips pulled down slightly harder than they were as his mind danced around Izaak. The pain in his chest was back but it wasn't as strong as it was in the past. Once again, he wrote what he wanted to say. Izaak. Meine bruder. He presented the book to her for her to see. He had written it without thought, his mind naturally writing his first language instead of the language most knew around here. Once he was sure she had seen it long enough to read it, he turned the book around so he could write again. Name? It was written under what he had scribbled down before. He usually did that, and wrote big enough for people to read from a distance. He held it up again for her and waited for her response.

Again, he wrote. The russet Lykoi frowned subtly, staring at the jumbles of letters on the piece of paper. They made no sense to her crimson eyes, at least not until the simple word name was placed down. He wanted to know her name. She blinked, once and then twice, but gave a gentle nod. "Talitha." It was all she could say. She couldn't respond to anything else he might have asked or said, unwilling to tell him she was illiterate to English or German or any sort of human language. Her eyes returned to the white reindeer, and then to the strange hoofed creature beside it. It made no sense to her why Luperci would want to keep such creatures; she was perfectly fine without pets, herself, but she'd noticed a trend in the various beings she'd met on her voyages outside of Inferni. Frequently, they liked to keep animals.

She rubbed at the back of her neck, shifting her weight farther toward her toes in order to stand taller. Being a coyote, she was small, but it was not something she advertised in stance or personality. Instead, she tried to appear larger; it rarely worked. "What are you doing out here with them? Who are you?" she asked, one black-rimmed ear circling toward him in hopes to hear his response. She couldn't deny that she hoped he could speak, though the fact that he was writing seemed to give her a definite feel that he was incapable.

Again, he didn't realize she couldn't read what he was writing; especially since she responded by giving what he asked for. Talitha, he would put that to memory; along with her appearance. Ruby eyes scaling her up and down. He shifted his stance, putting most of his weight on one leg as the other was bent slightly at the knee. He lifted an arm, allowing it to cross his upper torso as his fingers wrapped around his other elbow. Instead of continuing to stand there looking like a quiet coward (even though that was how he was), he headed over to his two pets. His clawed hand petted Donder kindly, the baby buffalo appearing to enjoy his touch. It wasn't that he was ignoring Talitha but he did come out to spend time with Donder and Blitzen.

The ear in which was able to move, pivoted in her direction when she asked him two questions. English wasn't his strong language so it took him some time to study on the words. He wished everyone spoke German than things would be easier for him. But in this world, there were different languages so he would have to deal. He was able to get the gist of what she had so he stopped petting the baby buffalo. Long legs carried him towards her so that she could see what he wrote when he was finished. Once again, he began to scribble on the page giving her what she requested. Sascha Ulrich. Feeding them. Want help? He showed her, hoping that he actually had gotten it right.
