Xion moved silently through the cave system, one of her outstretched optime hands trailing along the wall beside her as she walked. The girl was so curious about her new home, and with little else to do, she had taken to exploring the caves more thoroughly. She'd discovered the storage areas and the library--by which she was fascinated, but sadly did not know how to read. Now, though, she was through with those caves and was making her way back to the main common room. Xion had been spending a lot of time in the large, hollow area in hopes of meeting someone else who'd had the same idea.

The white-furred wolfess had just now realized how tired she was, and decided to sit down for a little while. She pressed her back to the cold stone wall and slid down until she was sitting comfortably on the floor. The Zepar tilted her tattooed muzzle upward to where the ceiling should have been. She couldn't really see it well, but she assumed it was there. She idly wondered how high up it was, and where exactly in the mountain this room was located. Never had Xion expected to find a pack with a cave system like this, and she was fascinated. Curiosity she inherited from her mother, probably.

Nyx de Jinx walked within her home of the Anathema's caves. Slowly, it was starting to become home as she fixed up her surrounding. Being surrounded by stone did not bother her, for she was at home with thier coldness. She knew much about semi-precious stones. For she would use them in her craft to create jewelry as well as other things. Although, these past days, she had been dedicated to furnishing her home and studio. When she had joined as a Zephar, she hadn't had much time to actually establish a home here but now as Abigor she knew she must. She needed her own comfortable space where she would have the ability to expand her creative thought freely. Lucky, she had found two room-like areas that where connected by a short tunnel. Nyx deemed it perfect for her, as one for a home and one for a studio space. She worked on setting up a large wooden desk in the studio space and shelving within the rocks themselves for her tools. In the living space she established a small fire pit, a bed of animal skins and a table. She still didn't know yet what to do with the door, perhaps she would make a beaded curtain. All of this would come in time.

Her side had been in pain from the hunt that Anathema had recently had and knew she must rest it. Trying to start up her own living space wasn't her recover at all. As It throbbed she decided to take a break and try starting the fire pit. The dark colored hybrid took flint from the table and began to strike it over the dry logs. After a little while, sparks caught on wood and a small fire rose. It's bright orange flames lapped the air and Nyx settled back, giving it a few sticks for kindle. As It began to rise in full, giving her living space a nice light and casting shadows. Nyx toughtt about the lighting and knew it needed some oil lamps to give her light. With these thoughts, she pulled out some paper and a pencil from the shelves and began to draw some ideas for her upcoming projects. The fire's heat gave a soft glowing sheen to her dark fur, enhancing the red and golden tones of her dark coat. She began to draw what looked like a fluer de lis. It was a symbol of the place she was from, France. She had missed her home and thought about getting some sort of tattoo mark upon her shoulder. Nyx was going to learn how to tattoo, but she would need to learn from someone.

ooc: hi hi! sorry for the wait.

Xion suddenly noticed the faint scent of smoke in the air, coming from a direction she hadn't noticed it before. Curious, she stood up and moved toward the source of the smell, which led her deeper into the tunnels and into the residential caves. An orange-yellow light was coming from one of the openings in the wall, and Xion moved closer to that particular room and cautiously peered inside, where she saw another wolfess apparently working on something. She studied the dark-furred female's movements briefly, watching as she moved some kind of object over a surface. Upon realizing that this created an image, Xion was even more interested. But she didn't want to intrude; this was someone else's home, after all.

"Um, excuse me?" she called, staying respectfully outside the cave entrance. "What are you doing?" Xion had never seen anyone draw before; she wondered how humans had made things like paintings and other artwork but didn't think she would ever be finding out about it any time soon. Hopefully if she stayed polite, the other wolfess might let Xion come in and learn more about what she was doing. And maybe she'd make a new friend in the process.
