TOMASA SANTILLIAN
Basics

Name Origin: Spanish

Nickname: Tommy

Birthdate: December 3rd, 2009

Age: Fourteen months

Luperci: Yes

Heritage: Hybrid; North American Wolf Breeds (Mexican Grey Wolf) and dog breeds including German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, and Australian Shepherd

Home & Rank: Loner, no home

Physical Appearance

Height & Weight

Lupus: 80lbs, 29in shoulder height

Secui: 160lbs, 36in shoulder height

Optime 175lbs, 6ft 4in tall

Prefers lupus & optime forms equally.

General: Tommy has a well-balanced build. She is rather lean, but the muscles evenly spread throughout her body are deceptively tough. There are some feminine traces in her, such as the fluidity of her body and some contours of her face, though she is not the most girly-looking wolf out there and appears rather neutral in regards to gender. Her longish tail has a bit of an upward lift to it, uncharacteristic for wolves, which comes from her dog heritage.

Eyes: Pale golden

Coloration: Base dark red-tawny; mottled with smoky black; golden highlights

Clothing: Pair of frayed, torn denim jeans

Accessories: None

Scars: None visible; others covered by fur

Tattoos: None

Piercings: None

Personality

General: Tommy is aloof; she does not project her emotions well. She is composed and practical at almost all times, so it takes a lot to make her angry. When she is angry, however, it is usually for the sake of her friends. If you have hurt those that she loves, she is absolutely remorseless and callous. She lacks social skills; she sometimes doesn’t know when it’s appropriate to speak, and she is also unsure about personal space. Another defining trait is her lack of empathy. She does not have the ability to put herself into other’s shoes. Emotions and motivations are the only things that she draws quick, and often wrong, conclusions about.

Traits: Protective, collected, proud, observant, skeptical, practical; unforgiving, aloof, callous, socially awkward.

Speech

Way of Speaking: She has an awkward way of speaking. Her voice is generally soft and smooth and quite clear, but she hesitates a lot in her speech. She never stammers or stutters, but that is because she stops to think over what she says.

Language: English

Dialect: American with hint of Mexican accent

Beliefs & Ideals

Sexuality: Undefined

Religion: Polytheism; pack believed in gods that represented aspects of nature, as well as gods that lived in the body

Prejudices: Sick wolves; avoids them at any cost. "Foreign" wolves; those with heavy accents that are not Spanish, French, or Italian; stems from unfamiliarity and can be overcome.

General Beliefs: Everyone has a small god inside them that represents their potential. The potential might not be as great as the sun god's or the rain god's, but each wolf should strive to reach their personal best, which benefits both themselves and others. Family is extremely important, whether it is biological or extends to the entire pack; family members should be protected at all costs. Outside of that, one should not take unnecessary risks to save strangers; one's own skin is more important than theirs.

Lifestyle & Behavior

Residence: None yet

Favorite Haunts: None yet

Hobbies: Hunting and running. Listening to stories and even telling them (a rare treat for the audience). Watching the night sky.

Habits: Excessive shrugging and leaning on everything. Licking her teeth as a nervous tic. Taking long pauses when speaking. Guarding of emotions.

Substances: None yet

Abilities

Skills: Fighting, both in lupus form and with twin daggers in optime; she has been in few actual fights and has only trained.

Strengths: Speed, agility, some strength; practicality, composure.

Weaknesses: Size, fragility, age, grappling strength; social ineptness, empathy.

Family

Ancestry:

Maternal Uncles: Zacarias

Mother: Camilla

Paternal Uncles: Fausto

Father: Vicente

Same Generation:

Siblings: Valencia & Amaya, sisters.

Name: None

General:

Tommy had a rather uneventful early childhood. Her parents were devoted to their children, each other, and the pack. Her father was a prominent wolf in the group, well known for his casual attitude, though he also had a cold side that his daughter inherited. Her mother was highly empathetic, something that her daughter did not inherit whatsoever. She had two siblings, both outgoing yet one more mischievous than the other. Tommy, personally, was similar at that age as she is today: a little reserved, but not unkind. She idolized her father, Vicente, and learned everything that he could possibly teach her.

Early in her life, she began training. The pack believed in urging wolves to fulfill their potential while assisting the pack; for that reason, there were various ranks that encompassed all types of duties. There were hunters, healers, messengers, and protectors. Tommy followed in the vein of her parents to become a guardian. Because of this, she learned early how to fight and gained her protectiveness over her pack, family, and friends.

The one defining event in her life was the crumbling of the pack structure. It was not a particularly traumatic event and with only minimal death. Sickness, as well as scarce game, forced the wolves to disband. It was early winter by that point, and she was nearing her first year. When Amaya fell ill, her parents made the tough decision of urging their two other daughters to strike out on their own for their safety. They would find new lives and new, more stable packs when they dispersed.

Vicente came with Tommy part of the way up north, ending his journey with her in the former northern United States. His love for his mate was calling him back home, and so Tommy would head into Canada alone in search of a new life.

Tommy Santillian

longing for warmth, better suited to the darkness

Primary (and only) Character. Current loner. I will be able to post with her on an almost daily basis. Note: I tend to fudge dates, so I'm not really keeping track of them here. Other members can change what they want about the dates on their end for continuity.
2011 :: First Year in 'Souls
  1. standing on the edge (JAN)

    Arriving at 'Souls after crossing the mountains. Meets Farore.

  2. teetering (JAN)

    Meets Rewdeynetya on the beach. The woman does not provide her with a lot of information, but that only makes Tommy more motivated to figure things out on her own.

  3. grasping at straws (JAN)

    Meets Fallen.

/*Just some general notes: You can use this to keep track of your Word of the Day or game points, too. It counts them automatically for you, then. 8D An example of this can be found in Sie's postlog (http://www.soulsrpg.com/ipb/index ... st&p=95421). Please feel free to quote the post and lift that example, though I swear there's nothing different about that code than the code provided here! Also, remember, if you use the basic DIV shell in multiple posts, you only need to include the CSS once! That's it! And then you can control all of your archives with one CSS, if you please! If not, and you want multiple different layouts for each Character and you plan to customise each one, *PLEASE* remember to change your class names from .tom to your Character's name or another unique identification, otherwise your CSSes will overlap and it will be bad.*/

.tom-archive li {padding:2px 0px; margin:0px; list-style-type: decimal-leading-zero; font-weight:bold;}

.tom-archive li em {font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:12px; letter-spacing:-.1px; line-height:16px; font-style:normal; font-weight:normal; }

.tom-archive ol { list-style-position:inside; padding:0px; margin:0px; }
/* This sets the position of the numbers inside; you can also have them display outside, if you like, which will push all of the text over to the right and separate out the numbers to the left slightly. I wouldn't mess with the padding or margin unless you want to add spacing around your archive list.*/
.tom-archive p {text-indent:25px; margin:0px; padding:0px; }

Please remember to mark your mature threads in their titles, the first post with the provided warnings, (http://www.soulsrpg.com/ipb/index ... t&p=107437), and in profiles, archives, and post logs. Anywhere you can give people a heads up about a mature thread is good.*/
.tom-archive li a {text-transform:lowercase;}
/*Controls the links used in your list items. If you want all of them to display upper or lowercase, I would recommend setting it via CSS rather than manually typing it in capitalized or all lowercase, because it is far, far easier to go back and change things later if you use CSS to set such things. Smile I typed all of the thread titles in my Character archives as properly capitalized and just set the links to display as lowercase. Remember, the fact that the a tag is declared after the li tag means that only links within your list items will change; any links outside of this (e.g., where the Wiki Profile / Detailed Profile links are) are not affected.*/
.tom-post {font-size:15px; color:#8C0404;}
/*If you want to use the little symbols, this controls their color and size. I like for the symbols to stick out from the rest of the text, hence the color. They also don't look very good at smaller sizes, that is why they are set for 15px. Feel free to experiment, of course. :3*/
.tom-archive .separator { font-family:'times new roman', times, serif; font-size:17px; text-transform:uppercase; border-bottom:1px dotted #000000; font-weight:bold; text-align:right; padding-right:10%;}
/*This is the separator control. Font variables and so forth. A note for the separators, you have to place them WITHIN a list item tag (li) in order for them to function properly for every instance except the first one, which is placed outside of the first ordered list tag (ol). An example of this has been done for you--please remember this, otherwise the separators are liable to break something somehow and you will have to rescue your codez and it will not be fun. */
.tom-header {font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:20px; text-transform:uppercase; letter-spacing:1px; font-weight:bold; }

.tom-notes {float:right; width:50%;}
/*Makes your Character notes float to the right. You can change this to left, just remember to set tom-post float to right too.*/
.tom-list {clear:both; padding-top:10px;}
/*This makes your list clear the title and Character notes divs. Don't touch this.;P You can change the padding so that there is a different amount between the thread list and your upper two divs; beyond that leave this part alone.*/
