The storm had devastated the Djose woman both physically and mentally during it's wake. It had nearly killed her, taken away her home and destroyed her previous sapling life. It had been new, barely months old and it had been ravished by the very nature that had given it to her. The house may have been torn down, her head may have been cut open, but her life was not broken. What this meant was that Tala would just have to find a new house. The Valley was her home, it was the space she called her own in which she now lacked. It had taken her many days to even begin to think of where she would try and relocate herself. She wished so badly to stay by the ocean but it was simply not possible with the damage. She could not live with Noah forever, he and Yuki had already been so kind to let her stay there with them in the meanwhile. Her welcome would not be overstayed if she could help it. Especially now with her new rank and responsibility to the pack she needed a space closer to the center. That was when it had dawned upon her. The Villa.

Days of looking through buildings and old houses had caused her mind to tire. The small abundance of buildings left little options as to where she would stay. Many were either too small for her or too worn down and simply unlivable. Door after door was closed behind her as she gazed upon the Villa streets. If not here, where would she find sanctuary? It was odd enough how such a word would be so fitting in the most unpredictable of circumstances. The dappled fae stood upon a building made of stone, A cross was adorned upon the roof and her amber eyes stared upon it with fascination. The church was small but plenty big enough for her to make a home out of. She had inspected the place head to toe before she had made her decision. Yes, this would do wonderfully.

That had been two days ago, yesterday she had searched through the wreck of her old cabin to find her few possessions. The hand held mirror Noah had given her was the main priority. She had found it on the floor next to the old bed, nearly exactly where she had left it. Unbroken had been the thing to ease her chest into relaxation. Blankets and cushions were huddled into her arms, as much as the Optime female could carry in one trip without much difficulty. The layout of the church had been pleasant, the main room was attached to a small kitchen and preparation area she could use to cook small meals and store items. There was also a small upstairs that greatly resembled an attic. It would easily be warmed from the wood burning stone oven. This meant comfort as well as food. Tala would spend several days getting herself situated here. For now, she was making her trips back and forth between debris and stone.

Currently at the broken down cabin Tala had her hands shifting through wood. She would take pieces that were usable, as well as burnable to start her stock of firewood back at the church. Digging the small cot of a bed out to transfer would be a two person job. Tala was alone. The task would have to wait.

Ookami was traveling around, trying to get more familiar with the territory. His new rank depended on it. He saw Tala digging through the debris of the cabin and decided to see if she needed any help. He was quite far away at that time so he began to make his way over there. Then he stopped, he would be more useful in optime form. He shifted, taking a little over a minute and a half this time. Then the now over seven foot wolf walked steadily towards her.

When he reached Tala he smiled, "Hello Tala. Do you need help with anything." He grinned gently as he gave a dip of his head to her. If she didn't need help than he would continue on down to the Villa, and maybe find some hidden shelter or something that the unhoused pack members could stay in the time being. He thought back to the place where him and Amisi broke into... That would suit pretty well... Why didn't I think of that? He exited from his thoughts and focuased back on Tala, wondering what she would say.
