Gathering the supplies

Supplies = first aid items. Others from any and all packs welcome to come aid. Big Grin

Since the snow storm life had been changed a lot. Angel had come home expecting a warm welcome and yet came home to such a troubling time of ice and snow damaging any and all that seemed to be in its paths. Cabins had fallen, others were hurt, live stock had been killed and they were running low on supplies. Angel had made her way on one of the few surviving horses with a pack strapped to its back in efforts to gather first aid supplies. The sugar wood, or Maple Syrup, was one of the easiest ways to make very solid braces when the time came and it had dried. The tools of man that drained the trees of their sweet sap was still useable and bringing out jars Angel began collecting it. The golden dark amber like liquid poured fairly slowly as it was cold outside and she was surprised it was even still moveable. Once she had at least four jars of it, she began to move on.

All the while Angel was looking for other small plants like the little red berries called Smelt Berries, numbweed, Mossy Bark logs, and other such things. It would help if she had another first aid person out here who knew what to collect and to possibly share information on certain first aid items but it was alright that she was by herself. She missed Domonick only because he was pretty much her only apprentice. He had been thrown into the skill head first when she first met him and upon her return he had disappeared. It was a sad thing to hear but then Ty had returned as well. That was what made her the happiest. And in her own selfish thoughts, he was single too. Angel couldn't help to smirk to her thought as she continued looking around the snow covered shrubbery. She found some, but very little and she knew there was so much out here to be able to use. Upon reaching some of the fallen maple logs and remembered that their bark was fairly tough. Using one of her sharpest knives she tried to peel some of the bark off the tree and found she had to move to her axe. The bark was fairly strong due to the fact the log was mostly frozen and this became difficult but after a decent amount of work she obtained several good pieces to be used for braces. Picking them up one by one she went over to her only remaining horse she had that survived she placed them and tied them on the pack. A noise then chirped to her ears and she froze. It was the sound of snow crunching. Was Angel alone in this forest?
