The air tasted of the same salt that could be found in the breezes of Cour des Miracles territory. It was midday, and the tide was still out only slightly, revealing the last of its treasures. Foam lingered in between the shells that were of such abundance that they appeared to be colorful sea grass from a distance. Instead of a the pure ocean line, the beach gave way to a view of multiple islands like scattered forests.

She had slept in with good intentions of feeding and grooming the horses only an hour later than usual. The day was anticipatingly warm and buds of blossoms were appearing on lone trees in the woods. Ever had seen sprouts growing along the border where the forest grass turned to sand outside the large window. But still, when she had awoken to ready herself, the house seemed distortedly dark and unfriendly.

The shoreline came quickly on horseback. After slipping into the yellow sundress used for seaside “work”, Ever had grabbed her basket which was becoming more frequently used. Upon arriving, the girl dismounted with grace and set her golden stallion out to graze. He was pleased with the familiar taste of sea grass and soon disappeared incompletely behind the sand mounds.

The silver girl was satisfied with the healing of her broken wrist that was confirmed a couple days ago. She had come to quite a few disadvantages during her time of injury, and still found it stiff to move. But to celebrate the mend in the bone, and the settling in of Ezra and hers home, Ever decided to go searching. From the time she had gotten there, Ever had already collected half a basket full of flawless shells along with long, fresh sea grass she could use for diverse purposes.

hello Smile

Pendzez had decided, that for once, he left the pack momentarily for a some relaxing. He had followed the shoreline from Phoenix Valley to Elevation Orientale, however, remained on the shoreline. The sea air was all in all affable. He adored the sea breeze as his feet traverse along the golden, sparkly sand as the waves of the ocean writhed up, yet only to regress back, but repeated in cycle, back and forth, over and over. And endless cycle of nature that the waters followed along with.

He gazed down at the golden sands, spotting sea shells that littered the shore with colorful art, like they were placed in each spot for a reason. Indeed, he did admire natures works. He would do what he could to preserve it. Keep it in the way that it was left as.

He had his Masamune with him, as always. Sheathed and hanging on his belt, it bounce a little as he took each step.

He had no bound destination, he was merely walking along the shore, just enjoying the scenery of the sparkling ocean and the calming ocean sounds that aquainted with it. His peaceful walk did not go uneventful. He picked a scent of another wolf nearby. His fiery orbs gazed up from the sand, encountering a female in their sight. The scent was not unfamiliar. It was from the 'Pack of Miracles', as he calls it.

It had been a good long while since he last spoke with a wolf that haled from a different pack. He had met one from each pack, including Inferni unregrettably. Luckily, Silas, he remembered the name of, wasn't like the others that came from Inferni. Yet, The white male had no memory of meeting a wolf from the 'Pack of Miracles'. Maybe this was a good chance to become aquainted with one.

There was no doubt, from his examinination from the distance between the two, she was young. He had no problem with young ones, unless they posed some sort of threat. However, he could not see any visible weaponry. So, as a guess, she was harmless. However, as always, he exercised caution as he approached closer to the Miracle wolf. He knew his sword would come in handy, however, he didn't really want to use on someone, especially on this young girl.

Hello!

She smoothed her thumb lightly over the rivets of the seashell that had, moments ago, caught her eyes with its brightness. Her paw had nearly scuffed the top of the shell that was white in color and dusted with such a fine red that Ever had to add it to her collection. The tide had already pulled in a substantial amount and added another wave of colorful shells. Ocean hued eyes flitted at the tan abundance of sand that glittered in sun rays.

A sudden relief for the pleasurable weather made the girl throw her head back to gaze at the blueness of the sky. Auburn curls framed her vision and swayed slightly in the salty ocean breezes. Not a single white tuft of a cloud could be seen for miles. She closed her eyes for a brief moment but was brought back to attentiveness when the sea washed its watery fingers over her black paws. Ever clenched her teeth and shied away from the water, careful not to crush any shells.

Once she had settled upon a small rock protruding from the golden grains, the silver girl noticed a figure in the distance. The man happened to be much closer than she had first anticipated, and what he carried with him made her far more uncomfortable.

No one that was more than friendly with in Cour des Miracles carried with them a sword. It was a foreign object to her, much like any other items made of metal. The girl stood, holding her head high and straightening herself. She turned slightly, unsurprised by the sudden and protective presence of her stallion. Ever stroked her black hands over his face while admiring his adoring expression.

Behind her, she could sense the man coming nearer and the tenseness of Saphraine’s muscles. His guardianship and companionship made her feel as safe as having a sword on her hip.

OOC/WC

He had come even closer to the young female, taking notice that she had an equine companion. He seemed to admire that. A bond in companionship between and animal and a wolf. This had most intrigued him. How could to the form such a strong bond? His sister had an avian companion once, however, she had not seen him in quite a long time, not since joining Crimson Dreams. Now, she had gone to the far lands beyond the ocean. Maybe, just maybe, she would return with a new companion.

He was quick to notice that the horse had exhibited protective behavior around the girl. This was understandable. A complete stranger, carrying a sword, who wouldn't show protection?

To prevent an unnecessary mishap that would cause a rift between the two wolves, the white male had stopped a fair distance away from the two. He had his hand away from the hilt of the sword, yet he, like every other time, exercised caution. The female was now in a closer view. He stood ground, so that the horse won't charge at him. He was merely respecting their space. He did have a code of honor.

"That's a fine stallion you have there, if you don't mind me saying," he spoke in a calm, friendly voice

Her claws dug deep in the sand. They were wet from the ocean water, and thus sunk in the golden grainy waves easily. She breathed in, slowly at first, determining the scent from the man who came steadily closer. His eyes were locked on them and she knew he had noticed them even from afar.

Although the salt from the sea was sharp and stung, the girl could still smell the other wolf. His scent was familiar, but unaccustomed to her. Phoenix Valley, Rio had called her pack, and this male reeked of the same taste.

She held back as he did, stroking the mane of her stallion. He was still undetermined as friendly or not and the sword seemed to tip the scales slightly towards unfriendly. Ever notice him remove his hand from the hilt and as soon as he was a respectful distance was between them, he stopped. The girl perked her auburn ears at the sound of his voice, carried only by the breeze.

The comment was easy, loose, something she would have expected if he noticed her displaying aggressive behavior. Ever nodded before closing the distance between the two with a few unison steps with Saphraine. She could read anyone cover to cover like an open book, and this Phoenix male was no exception. The hard lines around his eyes showed his wisdom in years and his position spoke cautious, reserve, but strong along the lines of battle. His eyes glanced at her horse readily, but the girl knew the golden steed would not lash out unless provoked. He was still wild at heart, but tame to hers.

Thank you, I found him in the hills when I was searching for a companion. Or, more like, he found me,

Ever said with a smile, feeling the stallion nudge her hand.
