OOCtasties: Clare!

Krissy wrapped her tail around her paws as she stared into space. She had no home yet, knew no one, and yet, she felt happier than she had in a while. She was too far away for Smudge to come and find her, and while she would have preffered to have Fred with her, she couldn't. He would have wanted her to be happy in any case.

The boy was too much of a sweetheart to really wish anything on anyone else. Happiness was the most dangerous thing he could ask of someone, and happiness was the danger that Krissy was willing to attempt. Who was she, the eternal optimist, to deny finding happiness? 'T was preposterous, beyond preposterous. It was just plain silly.

Lifting a slim paw, Krissy gave it a sedate lick. She really had nothing to do, and it seemed grooming would fill the long hours until she went back to her current 'home'. Of course, nothing was really home for her without books. Or little Fred. The feline missed her brother so much.

But what had happened had happened, and that was that. There was nothing she could do to change it, much as she would have liked to try. The cat would have liked to go back to her 'home', but the view of nothing was entrancing.

Oh how it was a long day today. And her days only seemed to get longer as well. Clare had been walking for some time now, with those two damed birds on her skull. They never seemed to go away. Walking was the only thing she ever did. She never stopped unless she was wore out. She had no one to call a real friend besides that puppy she met some time ago. Yes that puppy was such a sweet heart. Thinking of it made her smile. She should have stayed there a bit longer but her instint told her to keep moving and so she did.

Clare at times wish she had a nice place to settle down. Somewhere to call home. Yet, she could never do that. She had to carry out the name of her family and to do that she had to move on and find new clients. This place wasn't like her old home. Creatures came from all around to have someone get their paws dirty instead of themselvs. Although it was more peacefuller. She was susprised that she hadn't go into any scruffles yet. Didn't bother her thou.

Clare was always so captured in her thought, it was one of the things she did best but it was also one of her waek points. She always over thought everything, always got lost in her train of thinking. Lost. Thinking about it she figured she was pretty much lost. Snapping back into reality she noticed she had been walking around without paying attention to where she was going. Nothing looked familler. No sent she could reconize-- Clare stopped in her tracks. There was something feline in the air, and it wasn't her. Lifting her muzzle to the sky, she took all the smell inside. Oh yes there was something there.

Clare was some what excited to see another feline. picking up her pace she made her way towards the other creature who was too far off.

Sorry it's a bit late. <3

Krissy stared at the rocks, deep in thought. Her memories were veritably dancing around in her mind, different pictures of different places at different moments. Her favorites were when she was with Fred and Danii and Sylva and Elise. She hadn't really seen her father very much, as he had left soon after the kittens' birth.

But Sylva was a strong and capable female and had raised her kittens easily alone, and instilled in them a knowledge of High Speech and English. When Fred and Kriss left, neither of them knew what became of their sisters or their mother. Only that they were safe when the two had left, so they would always be safe in their minds.

She turned her head slightly to take in the smells of a breeze that had shifted, and smelt something feline. And large. A big cat, perhaps? Krissy had heard that cougars were fairly prominant in the area. Of course, she had also heard that cats would be following in the humans' footsteps and fly to the moon, as well as be able to shift like the wolves, coyotes, and dogs. That was obviously not going to happen, so Krissy decided to sit and wait.

OOC: Sorry so short. Fail postTongue

Clare continued to head towards the other feline. It smelled small. Maybe a bobcat prehaps? Either was she was exited. Clare hopped over a few sticks and crunchy leaves, it was natural for her to avoid loud things that would give her place away. Seeing as she was up wind from the cat she figured it could smell her. That was good though, she didn't really want to frighten it. Mybe only a little bit. She couldn't help it, she like the smell of fear. Clare could tell she was really close. Just a few more steps and she would be there.

The she seen it, a small regular kitty cat. With a tilt of her head she purred out. "Well hello there little Feline. What are you doing out her all one your own. You seem to be far too small." This Feline looked like it couldn't even harm a fly. Clare wondered how it had been holding up so long. It didn't look like a new kitten.
