The female leader sat on a rock near the boundaries of Cercatori d'Arte, her belly now swollen and her visibly pregnant. She didn't give herself a rest, however - she was always working hard to protect her pack now that Shawchert had fallen into a depression. Sitting diligently in Optime form, she took watch over her pack, making sure that no one and nothing would trespass or transcend the borders without permission. From this perch, she could see quite clearly some ways away from the border - it would be easy to spy a trespasser.

Skye hadn't had a break, and recently she'd felt like she's been sick, or slowing down, at least. From the feel of it, she could tell that she had more than one pup now - and they weren't giving her a break. She was constantly hungry all the time, constantly feeling sick and throwing up. If one looked closely, they could tell that she was extremely tired - she didn't get sleep from between fixing up Thornbury after the horrible storm and visiting her packmates, making sure they were alright from after the scare of Argul. Her eyes had a bloodshot hue, and she took a tired and exhausted pose. Sometimes she felt overexerted, but her pack didn't get a break, and neither did she. She had to be the leader now, because Shawchert...well, he had his own problems to deal with.

She then felt that she had to get away from that place - she had to leave the borders...she had kept watch and renewed the scents, and no one was coming. She stepped off the rock gingerly - so gingerly as to not disturb her stomach or her pups. She felt slightly sick again, and almost sat down immediately - but she just had to get away, and sucked it up and walked to Thornbury.

She reached the small town shortly and looked out over it. Her pack members hated her...Her pack members, the ones that she was leading over, didn't listen to her or even take heed of her. They didn't listen to Shawchert, either, even after he chased out the horror that was Argul, the horrible bastard. And now that he was depressed again, not letting himself be seen...they didn't take him seriously. They didn't care about Skye, either - she was always the passive leader, and even though she was doing too much work for her own good, they continued to ignore her. She couldn't shake the feeling of being ignored from that day in the pack meeting - no one had heeded her words.

No one.

Trying to forget and move on, she walked towards Sky's house - she knew that Valinta was there, and the creamy-white woman had to visit her. She hadn't seen her in a while, and wanted to know how she was doing. It was one good thing that happened to the pack, the member waking up - she was impressed at Sky's ability to help her. Perhaps she would be good as a medic for the pack, as a co-rank.

Entering the abode, Skye looked in at the bed that the black and cream woman lay on. "Valinta?" she said softly, her voice cracking slightly from weariness and her stomach bulging from underneath her shirt.
