She was tired now. Alls she had eaten in the past half of a month was small mice, and her tongue could no longer even taste the flavor. Where once it had been a treat, now she dreaded eating another mouse again. The small thing was never satisfying, it cost her more energy to get it then it even gave her. She had grown frail and weak since that strange female had taken her in her wing and abandoned her again. Montidora was a lost bird with little to no reason to live. What she looked forward to was the end of it all, if only because she had no idea what good in the world there was besides Dharm who disapeared just like all of the others.
She entered a thick forest, darkness hiding every part of her but her eyes. Her legs shuddered and finally she willed herself to a collapse. Her legs buckled and in a simple, clumsy motion, she fell tiredly onto her side. Her eyes were dull and she became overwhelmingly hott in mere seconds. Her tongue met the ground and her stomach growled uneasily, her dull, dark red eyes went unblinking as she surveyed her surroundings.
This, this overwhelming tiredness, this sense of lost dignity, this lack of hope- it was all she knew in her short life. Her beginning was bad, and she could only assume every one elses life was like this. Had she known what dying was, she would of wondered why they didn't just die. This emptiness? It was not worth breathing for any longer.
