Lunatoke sniffed by the borders, remembering the scent of the rag a loner had brought her from the territory. Ever since hearing about the peaceful pack, Lunatoke had wanted to join. She stayed away from Inferni, terrified of warlike ways. Finally scenting the distinct pack smell, Lunatoke wagged her tail and sat down.
Remembering what she had learned about pack ways and such, she sat down and howled into the distance, sending out a request to be greeted at the border. Wagging her tail, she inhaled what was surely the scent of new things to come.

Songan had been known to come to the borders now with the pups, more so Ciqala seeing as he was shier than the others and preferred to stay near his mother any chance he got. He wanted to begin teaching them at an early age of the borders to the tribe and made sure they stayed within them when they were not with an adult. The pups seemed to be doing a good job, taking in the scents as they moved along the borders. Kaya and Pivane began to argue with each other, both of them wanting to lead the way and follow the scent of the borders. Ciqala sniffed it and took in the scent, though he stayed near the red wolf as they moved along. He kept trying to encourage the young pup to join his siblings, though kindly shook his head and stayed near his father figure. He smiled and nodded as they continued on. He called to the other pups to make sure that they didn’t go too far ahead of him. He wanted to make sure he was still able to keep them in view. Kaya and Pivane both stopped a bit of the ways ahead and waited for the two males to catch up.

Songan paused for a moment as he heard the howl coming from up north along the borders. It seemed whoever made the source of the noise was good about staying at the borders until a tribe member came by to see who it was. The male told the pups that their next task was to go along the borders and find out who made the noise they heard. He told them to make sure they could see the wolf but stay out of sight themselves. Considering the two wild ones were able to follow him without knowing, he was sure they would be able to do this. Pivane and Kaya jumped at the chance and began to make their way up north along the borders. They kept on following the scent until they noticed someone. They stayed hidden as they were told until Songan and Ciqala caught up to them. He smiled as he noticed the loner. He told the smallest pup to wait with his siblings as he went to see who it was.

The rust wolf came out into the clearing and smiled to the wolf. He didn’t seem to be any danger to the tribe, then again if he was he was sure he wouldn’t announce himself to the tribe. He gently crossed his arms and spoke. "Hello stranger. These are the borders to the AniWaya tribe. My name is Songan Amara. Is there something I can help you with?" He took in the scent of the stranger as he waited. This one was a loner and didn’t seem to have the scent of any other pack. Perhaps this one was here looking for a place to stay. If that was the case then he was sure there would be no problem with him joining.
