Ookami's stallion- http://globalhorseculture.typepad.com/phot...6/roan_appy.jpg

Ookami had left Phoenix Valley for a while. He didn't tell anyone about it for he wasn't expecting to be gone for long. He had left searching for two horses, one for him and one for the love of his life, Adonia. He wanted to pick the perfect one for her. He had been gone for a week and a half. He found a herd of horses and had watched them carefully. He had spotted a mare that he thought would be perfect for Adonia. She was sweet to the other horses and seemed shy too. He had captured her easily and had tried his best to bond with her as much as he could. He didn't bond too much for he wanted her to take a liking to Adonia as well.

He had almost given up hope for a horse for him when he was leaving. The mare followed behind him, the only thing keeping her to Ookami was a rope. The mare had spotted the stallion first. She had stopped in her tracks and looked right at him. She seemed to call him over and he trotted over happily. He shoved his muzzle right into Ookami's outstretched hand and allowed Ookami to put a rope around his neck and let Ookami lead him and the mare.

Now he was back in Phoenix Valley. He led the two horses down towards the stable, looking around for anyone that might be at the barn. He hoped Jefferson wouldn't be too mad that he had left without telling anyone where he was going but he didn't want the word of what he was doing get back to Adonia, it was supposed to be a surprise that Adonia would have her own horse. He led them into a secluded pasture with no other horses in it. He took the rope off both horses and shooed them away to play. He sat down in the middle of the pasture, looking at the two horses. He needed to think of a name for his boy.

Arye always found herself surprised at how AniWaya and Phoenix Valley had pulled together to rebuild the ranch house. When she had arrived here, it had been a ravaged, ruinous place. Now, there stood a workable structure in its place. Sure, there were still some things that could stand to be patched up, but overall it was a thing that inspired Arye whenever she looked at it; it was a testament to how well two packs could work together, a concept she was only now becoming acquainted with.

Without fear, she approached the golden colored male. He had curious coloring, unlike any other coloration she had seen in one of her kind. It made him unique to her. She could not remember having met him before, although if she was honest with herself, she had been focusing mostly on Pripyat when she wasn't exploring the lands around and outside of Phoenix Valley. Not time to break the ice like now. With her golden colored eyes carefully tracking the two horses, the cream colored girl called out a friendly greeting. She came closer to the middle of the pasture and claimed a seat on a patch of grass beside her pack member. What are their names? the girl asked curiously, her golden eyes tracing the black and white figures of the horses.

Ookami looked up to see a female coming into the pasture. He smiled at her, "No names yet.. Still trying to think of some.. That one over there..." He pointed to the mare he had chosen for Adonia, "-I got for another pack member.. And the other one is mine, but I cant think of a name at the moment. He smiled at her, "I'm Ookami, the pack's Senex.." He looked back out to the horses. What would be a good name for the stallion? Flint? No... He couldn't think of any.. Maybe this female would help Ookami brainstorm.

"I've been thinking about names like Triton or Addikin... None of them seem to quite fit the stallion." He chuckled, he had never had to name anything before and didn't realize how much of a burden it was. He did know some Japanese words. In fact his name was Japanese.. It just meant wolf.. He thought about maybe naming the stallion just horse but when he finally located the word in his head it was no good. Uma, didn't sound like a very good name to him. "Maybe Tsuyoi?"

She hated the winter and resorted to hiding, and when spring rolled around depression had set it making her stay out of the way of anyone, even Ookami. Her arm finally healed and she was starting to feel better despite her anxiety. It was time to put the past in the past and enjoy the brisk summer weather. The first stop for Adonia was the barn, the hardest place for her to go. She wasn't sure if they had raised a new one or not, she took word lightly....or tried to when it came to things of that nature.

She for the first time in awhile was in her four leggers form, a form she loved dearly and now with the healed leg (or arm depending upon the form) could trot with ease again with little sign she was ever injured. As she made it over the hill she looked down upon the new barn. It was at that moment she saw Ookami and her heart went into her throat, breath caught up and she felt stunned for a moment. Love.

How could she have been so selfish and kept to herself all this time? She felt ashamed and she wanted to run, but her legs were frozen and her body took over in defiance of her mind. Hiccups burst from her, and her ears folded back in a shy fashion, but Ookami was easily an quarter mile away from her, but she saw him and that was enough to send her into an anxiety ridden bashful state.

When she saw the other female she felt a little jealous. What if Ookami moved on? Also she wondered what he was doing with the two horses. She assumed they may have escaped from the barn but wasn't entirely sure, either way, they were attractive horses.

Ookami was still thinking for names when a brisk wind brought to him a very familiar scent. He looked up quickly, his ers perked up and eyes hopeful. He had shifted while thinking, for he felt more comfortable in his Lupas form. He saw her, there she was. It was Adonia. The love of his life. He smiled happily and excusing himself from the female he was with jumped up and ran out of the pasture. He bounded towards Adonia with a smile on his face. He slid to a stop in front of her and licked her muzzle. "Adonia! I have missed you so much." He nuzzled her cheek softly and smiled.

He remembered the horses and smiled again, "So Adonia, how do you like your mare?" He glanced over at the mare who had ventured off from the stallion and was grazing. "Better start thinking about a name!" He laughed, "Come on, come meet your horse." He started to walk towards the pasture and stopped, waiting for Adonia to follow him.
