They were up in the night drinking alcohol. She remembered the burn on her foot and she swore she could still taste the fish he cooked her. They then after romped like puppies playing tag. She then had a friend. He had curled up around her and told her good night. She remembered the panic she felt if he was going to leave. Sure enough, he left before morning. She had packed up her stuff into her pack and walked away not looking back she thought she wouldn't care. But they were coming back to haunt her now. She walked here thinking she could start new.
Walking in optime was painful. The burn mark still remained on her foot, the scar was already appearing. The fur was burned away to a bald patch. She didn't bother shifting because she could only shift to lupine. Shifting to Secui was painful for some weird reason. She stopped trying long ago. Lifting her bow and loading an arrow, she scanned the area for any prey. She had fine hunting arrows tipped with deadly blades. Hearing movement and smelling a hare, she aimed to the spot in the bushes where the movement came from. Making sure she was right with the location, she fired.
Hitting the small creature in the ribs, piercing the lungs she ran over to retrieve it. Picking up the hare by it's long ears, she brougt it back to her "camp". Setting it down on a rock and examining the small brown pelt, she had an idea. She wanted to make boots for her feet. The pads of her toes were throbbing from walking. Skinning itquickly and putting the meat away in her bag, she lay down with her head in her hands and she felt like crying but no tears came. She felt bad. She ran her fingers through her red hair wondering what to do.
