Valinta wandered around Ethereal Eclipse easily, adjusting her hat every now and then. Princess Puff had slept in it the night before, and now it smelled strongly of cat. It didn't really matter though, the female thought. The hat was on her head and the cat was sleeping in a spare pouch on the side of Valinta's belt. The pouch was larger than usuall, but it was still a pouch. Besides, the cat had to fit in it.
Whistling softly, Valinta played with the necklace she wore, fiddling with the skull and absently playing with the dagger. Sitting down against a tree, she drew the dagger and played with it in the sunshine, letting the light play over it. It was so... shiny. She smiled at the dagger that she painstakingly cleaned and polished every day. It was her special and she loved it.
Resheathing the dagger, Valinta let her head fall back against the tree and her eyes drift closed. It was a lovely day, good for relaxing against a tree and having a cat... Speaking of cats. Valinta pulled Princess Puff from the pouch she rested in, and set her in her lap. She started to purr loudly, her little body thrumming with the sound. Smiling, Valinta closed her eyes again and dozed in the sunshine.
