Taliesin had vanished again. He was quite the little escape artist. And Deuce was no less frantic this time than she was the last. She wandered in circles, calling fo her son, trying not to wake the pack. Taliesin! Come here! The boy shouldn't be that hard to spot. he'd be white in a pool of black.
She heard a rustle and froze, a growl in her throat. It was too big to be taliesin. She felt foolish as a stag bounded by. She'd have let out a laugh if she hadn't been so worried about taliesin. She didn't understand how the boy kept getting out.

Ohnoes. D8 That's okay. here ya go!

Red was doing the usual; the male was up in a tree. He was near some pack land, he was pretty sure. Sol took out his dagger and cut a notch in the tree limb he was sitting on, his feet dangling in the air. He took one last breath of clean, tree scented air before descending down to the ground. The coyote-wolf creature was about to head off when the wind carried a strange scent to him. He looked around, saw nothing, and then headed off in the direction he felt the scent came from.

Red was surprised when he came across a small, white pup that was stumbling through the undergrowth. His nose twitched and he gently picked the small puppy up. ’Now, de donde tú?’ Red wandered in the direction of the strongest wolf scent, then stopped. Whoever it was might be hostile if he wandered into their territory. He sat down beneath a tree and howled a short, questioning howl. If anyone was looking for this little mite, they would probably come once they heard that.

A strange scent came to her just as the howl reached her ears. She felt herself stiffen for the second time. Now the growl was furious. She could smell taliesin again, her son's scent strong against the strangers. She could hear him too, now. He was yelling to be put down..
She moved fluidly, her bi-colored eyes filled with fury. how dare someone touch her child? She picked up a stout branch, intending to use it as a club. She could see them now, taliesin squirming in the stranger's grip and calling for her. The stranger sat beneath a tree, -in her mind- lounging there as if he had every right to be there. The growl became a snarl with words. Put my son down.
She held the club, ready to use it if he showed so much as one sign of violence. Her eyes almost seemed to ask for him to give her an excuse to clobber him a good one.

OH SNAPS. O-O

Red held the pup away from him slightly, because the thing was struggling and screaming. The poor boy had no idea what to do. Sol had never been near pups before, and as far as he could remember, he had never seen any either. So, the hybrid just sat there under a tree with a bewildered look on his face. Right about then a snarling wolf came crashing through the brush with a branch in hand, hissing threateningly at him. If red hadn’t been frozen with fear he probably would have dropped the puppy, literally.

He got up from beneath the tree slowly and placed the puppy on the ground, gently. He was scared that the she-wolf was going to fly at him and he would have a moiety of that branch stuck down his throat. ”Señora, yo no meant daño a su niño. No harm.” Red stepped back away from the pup, his hands held up in a non-threatening gesture.

OOC text wtf?

Taliesin, once freed, ran and hid behind his mother. Deuce immediately dropped the club, picking him up. the month old boy squirmed and lathered kisses all over his mother's face. After ascertaining her son was unharmed, she glared at the stranger. Her voice was frigid.
"You are on Twilight Vale lands. What is your buisiness here?" Normally, she was friendly. But she'd been frigtened. And then some. She hated that feeling. She hated being scared. And her little boy was all too good at doing it. So of course she wasn't going to be friendly.
Deuce normally was a very nice femme. But ever since Shadow's death, she'd been edgy about strangers. She didn't like them. Especially not in her pack's lands. She didn't wander...and she expected others to do the same.

^^ You reply fast. (lol, I think I'm using this W.o.t.D wrong)

Red let out a sigh of relief when the female dropped the club. He couldn’t help feeling relived that he didn’t have an angry mother wolf coming after him with a branch. Trees weren’t meant to hurt people, even parts of them. However, he soon realized that he wasn’t out of the woods yet(bad pun, lol). He lowered his head slightly and put his tail slightly between his legs, trying to look as non-threatening as possible. ”Yo disculpo. Yo wandered en. No tree here. Yo scent su niño. Yo miro él, su niño wander alone. No safe.” Red kept his hands up, and he tried to make a sentence out to the female. It seemed that most wolves around here spoke only English. Still, the lone pup had made him both curious and slightly concerned. While he had done his moiety of wandering alone, he had been much older than this child.

((Forgive Deuce. She's chosen to be very mean. I'M NOT MEAN, I SWEAR!))

Her alpha was a hybrid. But she knew his mother. Other Hybrids she'd learned to be wary of. As hard eyes studied this male, she ascertained that there was no way by the goddess' staff she would trust him. Especialy if he didn't speak english. The words coming from his mouth were mostly foreign, makinmg the mother more wary. She could feel the fur rising on her back, and didn't pause to stop it or calm down.

He did try to tuck in and look harmless, she had to give him that. But it didn't stop the flow of foreign words from his mouth. She snarled, her aggressive posture making her want for him to leave the lands clear. You need to leave, now. No tree here. Trees? Why was this stranger talking about trees? The growl deepened, became more threatening. The boy was set down, and he continued to hide behind his mother. He knew angry mommy was something to be feared.

^^ that's okay. I think this is finished though o-o Maybe we'll need a follow up thread later.

Red couldn’t get it through to this female that he had wandered into her territory because he had scented the puppy. There was no doubt a language gap going on here. He was standing in the umbrage of the lone tree, trying to look as non-threatening as possible, and this female was still ready to knock him over the head with a branch. Red threw up his hands in despair and stormed out of the territory, muttering something under his breath in Spanish. He wasn’t really angry, just frustrated. There Sol had been, trying to do a good deed and give a pup back to his mother and she had felt it necessary to snarl and growl and threaten him with a branch.
