Darkness had cast a shadowy cape over the coyote lands. Io sat silently at the borders, paying little attention to what was happening behind her, inside the clan lands, and more to the ghostly surroundings outside of the border.The hybrid's bright silver eyes hovered over the horizon, scanning the silhouettes for any trouble. She had done this with more frequency now Aslan was gone, Aeron and herself shared the duties of the pups happily, but when Io was not needed, she disappeared to spend some time with herself.
The hybrid lowered her head, slipping her snout back inside of the hare's body, one which she had killed earlier on in the night. The majority of her muzzle was dyed red with the fresh rabbit blood, something which she was usually tidy about. Her mind was elsewhere currently, no time nor need for the burden of cleaning herself, when all she would do is get messy again. A soft breeze whistled through the woman's mane, her thick secui form seemed ghostly between the morbid border markers. Io sighed, taking another bite of her dinner before staring out to the dark world.
