What had happened to AniWaya? the land that she had started to call home was now a place that made her feel unnerved, specially when she roamed around the village. She could feel something in the air, something that her fellow packmates had left behind during their roams around the place. Tension. This was clearly a bad situation for the healer, who's happy-go-lucky attitude had began to fade.

That morning she had woken up like she ever did. Curled in her mattress, which she had stuffed the other night with wild flowers and pine needles so the smell could relax her a bit. For a moment, she wished that she could stay there for the rest of the day, but she had work to do. The routine was the same: wake up, greet kali (who had been quite active the last days), put on her skirt, checked her storage room, and left her home to wander downriver. There was actually no reason for her to stay at home, but she didn't find a good reason to wander off either. But what else could she do?

Her feet guided her around the territory that she had gotten to know very well. She felt hungry, but she decided to leave the hunt for later. She just wanted to relax. But this simple action proved being difficult since even her surroundings seemed cautious with the presence of the strangers in these lands. But why was she so uneasy about that? she hadn't even met them, so why would there be a problem? Maybe the strangers were good people and just wanted to guide the tribe in the correct direction. But was it necessary to demote the leader just for that? Why would they demote him from the highest rank to the lowest of the low for no reason? Or maybe he had committed something terrible from which she had no notice, specially since she had only joined AniWaya less than a month ago, so there was no way for her to know everything that had happened within the pack.

A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she removed a strand of hair from her field of vision. She didn't know what could she do to ease herself, so she decided to walk further, her feet making a muffled noise against the litter under them. She wished that she could speak to one of her friends now, specially Ayasha. She was yet to give her the bad news of her fruitless search. She believed that the blue-eyed girl would be angry at her for not coming back with good news. But she would try to make her forgive her. As she walked further, she began to hum a random melody. Her feet brought finally her to a point of the river where the water flowed slowlyer, almost melodically. The female reached the edge of the water and kneeled beside her before leaning over the water and taking a few sips. The feeling of the cool water felt so good. Somewhere near her there could be heard the echo of water droplets falling against a solid surface. The sound resulted soothing, and the Kunikoti couldn't resist to close her eyes and prick up her ears, focusing on the sound produced by the flowing water and the droplets.

OOC: Ayasha is here!

IC: Ayasha went on her patrol mulling everything over. Which left her in a rather sullen mood. She had been part of the Tribe for six months and had never seen anything that should cause Dawali to be demoted like that. She wondered if he would be forgiven or anything would happen if someone didn’t help it along. She doubted it.

She came to the creek and scented someone familiar that she hadn’t seen in awhile. It was Luna Sabino. She hurried towards the scent and saw her form sleeping. She slowed down and walked quieter, not that she was loud to begin with. She wondered what Luna thought of what was happening. She also wondered if she found Roran. She hoped so, but deep down she knew that he was gone. She wanted to resist but knew that the longer that she denied it, the more hurt she would feel. She would also possibly miss out on someone else who would stay and love her.

She approached the earthen female and sat down to wait for her to wake up. She wanted to talk to her but was willing to wait until Luna woke up. As she waited, her ears twitched as she kept an ear out for anything that might approach.

Hope you don't mind me joining with Sanuye. Songan will be there in a bit. / Points: 5

Songan had not been pleased by the recent events in his life. Not only had he have to deal with the pain of his brother being demoted to the worst rank in the tribe, he was being ordered to make weapons for the tribe that he didn’t feel was needed. He was glad that he was able to still have the comfort and support of his companion Sanuye. She always seemed to try and make him feel better, though not for long. It pained him too much to know that the only way he would be able to help his brother would be to follow the selfish Maska. He hadn’t even eaten in a couple of days, which was beginning to worry the young coyote. She had been trying to get him to eat something, though with not much luck. Liluye had even become more visible with the old wolf’s action. She too was worried for him. Liluye made herself visible to Sanuye to get help from others.

Songan rested on his bed of pelts with the she coyote sitting near him. He stared at the wood he had gathered for making the bows, though hadn’t gotten started on it seeing as he was not motivated to. Sanuye frowned as she looked to the wood too. She then placed her hand on Songan. ”Don’t worry yourself over this Songan. Just work on your project for Ralla. Maska can wait on you to finish your other projects first.” The red wolf looked over to his companion and sat up, gently embracing her in a hug. ”Thank you Sanuye” He took up the leather he had set aside for Ralla and began to work on his project. The bows could wait.

Sanuye smiled as she got out and began to head outside of his home. She stopped by the creek to clean herself a bit. Her nose moved into the air as she caught the scent of someone nearby. She walked a bit along the creek until she found the two sitting there. She didn’t recognize either of them, though Liluye recognized one of them. The kestrel appeared and flew in front of Ayasha. It was nice to see the young she wolf again, though it looked like everyone was not taking well to the new authority. She gently landed on the she wolf’s arm and then looked over to Sanuye. The hybrid moved over to them and sat down with her paws in the creek. ”Hello there.” Liluye moved from Ayasha to the she coyote and then looked back to the white wolf. Sanuye tipped her head a bit and gave her a small smile. ”It seems Liluye knows you though sadly I do not. My name is Sanuye Otsana.” She curled her tail around to her side as she took a moment to adjust the feathers in her hair. It was nice to be meeting members of the tribe that she did not meet the first time that she had come here.

635(+5) :: Forgive me for my lateness, too much real life stuff to deal with XD. Aaanyways, here it is.

So...tired... The woman's mind drifted into a slumber state as she laid beside the creek. Since she was laying on her belly her fur began to get wet with every minute that passed, but that didn't stop her from relaxing, thanks to the rhythmic lullaby produced by the armonious chorus of droplets and running water. And within a few seconds, she fell asleep.

A few minutes later, the femme opened her eyes at the sound of light steps moving in her direction. The still lingered within her body, drowning her, so she didn't recognize who was it. As she blinked, she wondered how could she fall asleep so suddenly, specially since it was so early in the morning. The paces sounded each time closer, and the female reacted to the new sound by turning one of her ears towards whoever was coming. With the corner of her eye, she tried to identify who was approaching, and it was no surprise to her that the one who had found her was a certain blue-eyed teenager that she had come to call her friend. An almost invisible smile crossed her features as she waited for the girl's rambling; but all she did was to sit beside her in silence. This puzzled her. Why wouldn't she talk to her?

With an audible sigh, the wodden colored woman straightened herself on al fours, stretching her stiff limbs. The coldness of the floor hadn't done any good to either her body or her pelt for the first had cooled down, stiffing, and the second was almost completely wet save for the parts that hadn't had direct contact with it. "Hey, Ayasha." She said with a rasped voice as she knelt down. Apparently the dampness had affected other parts of her body too. Her fluffy tail began to wag erratically as she leaned forward and hugged her, damping her pure white pelt. "I've missed you a lot." She said, still holding her in her arms. When she parted the hig, a wide smile could be seen in her eyes. Though, it didn't last forever. Ayasha's blue ponds reminded her of somebody else. A wolf that had entered in both female's lives and that had left deeper marks within the youngest. Her smile faded away as she realized that she had to give the bad news to her friend. "Ayasha, I, hummm...i looked for him everywhere, but I..." She couldn't continue because her words were interrupted by the arrival of another canine that she had never seen before. It had a multi-colored pelt and a gentle aura, so Luna felt confortable as she walked closer. But to her surprise, the coyote didn't even pay her a glance and instead referred to Ayasha. However, Luna's attention was momentarily drawn away from the pair when she saw the form of a fox beside the stranger. The animal itself didn't surprise her. In fact, what called her attention the most was that it reminded her of Kali somehow. She wasn't sure why, but she felt as if the creature didn't belong entirely to this world. Her ears caught pieces of what the other female was saying whilst her eyes focused on the tiny creature. But her dark-colored face suddenly straightened as she heard the coyote's name. Sanuye. Since she was being left out from the conversation, the wolfess decided that she didn't want to, so, with a welcoming smile, she introduced hersel. "Hum, hi." Her tone was low yet cheerful. "I am Luna, Ayasha's friend." A light bow accompained the words as she placed a strand of hair behind her ear, brushing the small flower that adorned her head that day and lowered it to join it with her other hand at the same time that she looked at the woman before her.

OOC: Songan, get your butt over here! Tongue

IC: She gave a slight smile at Luna’s look. So she was silent. It happened. Rarely. She didn’t want to wake her. Be glad I let you sleep. One time I woke Leon up by poking his leg with a stick. She snickered at that memory. Though to be fair I did bring him a rabbit to eat. She calmed down a little. I missed you, too. The affect was muffled by the hug. She gave a slight squeak from being hugged and getting wet.

She frowned at the look that Luna was giving her. And then she started to talk about Roran but was interrupted. You couldn’t find him, could you. She stated not asked. But she wasn’t too upset. She had already accepted that he was gone and not coming back. She was sad but not inconsolable.

She grinned at the coyote. Songan had told Ayasha about Sanuye. I’m Ayasha. You’re Songan’s friend right? The one with pups? I’m glad to meet you. She gave the spirit guide a smile. Has Songan finished the carving he was making? She was a bit surprised that the kestrel had landed on her arm but was happy. She asked both Sanuye and Liluye, So where might Songan be?

Songan is here! / Points: 5

Sanuye's worry would not leave. Considering what Maska had done to him to get what he wanted, she felt at times that she wanted to leave the tribe again. She had just returned and now she was feeling the need to leave again. She gave a small sigh as she made her way along the creek. She turned her gaze down into the water was she paced herself along. She could feel the summer breeze through her hair. Her eyes continued to move around as she admired the nature around her. It was kind of nice to get away from everything and try to forget about the green marked wolf and what happened to Dawali. She wanted to speak out against the new leadership, though she was encouraged by Songan not to. He didn't want her to get into trouble like he had. She crossed her arms as she frowned. She was sure she would get her chance at one point.

Sanuye looked over to the darker wolf as she was awake and spoke the he white wolf before turing her attention to the coyote. She introduced herself and said that the white one was her friend. It would be nice if Sanuye would be able to make more friends in the tribe, especially now since it looked like not a lot of her tribe mates were happy about what happened to Dawali. "It's a pleasure to meet you Luna." Her attention then went over to Ayasha as she introduced herself and then stated that she was Songan's friend. She also found it a bit shocking that she knew who the she coyote was. It brought a small smile to her face to know that Songan was actually talking about her while he was here. The she wolf then asked where the red wolf was. She lowered her ears a bit as she looked away a bit. "He's back home... he's been staying there for a while actually... he hasn't been himself since he met with Maska and his guardian restrained him. His back has been hurting and I've doing all I can to make him feel better."

Songan sighed as he rested on him stomach and finished up his work for Ralla. He would have to give this to her soon and would still have to give the bow he made to Saxif. He hoped he would be able to run into them soon. He carefully sat up and set his work aside. He wondered where Sanuye had gone. He carefully stood up and peeked outside. She wasn't in view, though he followed her scent to where the others were. He noticed Ayasha and then wished that he had brought his completed work. He soon came over to Sanuye and took a seat beside her. Sanuye looked over to him. "Songan, are you sure you're alright enough to be walking around?" He gave her a small nod before turning to Ayasha. "Hello Ayasha. It's good to see you again." He then looked over to the darker she wolf. "It's nice to meet you too."

554(+5) Idiom of the week(+10) :: XD

Luna's first impression of the stranger hadn't been very good, but as soon as she aknowledged her, that changed. Not that she disliked strangers, it was just the way that she had first ignored her. After the introductions Ayasha asked her something else, changing the subject, so the masked woman decided to listen. The female that introduced herself as Sanuye spoke about another pack member, whose name resulted unfamiliar to the Kunikoti. By her words, the man had been injured...or maybe it was the tension that lingered in the air lately. A name called her attention by the way that the red wolf had pronounced it. Maska. Curiosity appeared in her eyes as the red colored female kept on speaking.

"Hummm, Sanuye, Maska is the one who arrived to the tribe in order to take the leadership, right?" She asked when the other stopped talking. Her voice held a tint of harshness, but not so much. She had been told that the newcomers weren't good people, but she was such a Doubting Thomas that she couldn't believe them right away. She hadn't met Dawali before, but people had spoken about him with respect and admiration. However, he had been charged for doing something bad. This situation only created confusion to the girl.

She was taken out of her thoughts when a different voice came to her ears. It was that of a male, and when she looked up, she first believed that the person who was nearing the group was no other than Dawali himself, due to the resemblance between him and the past leader. But his smell told her otherwise. No, he wasn't who she thought he was. But he resembled him very much. Her eyes never left his lively-colored pelt as he joined the group. Somehow unconsciously, she leaned a bit in Ayasha's direction, but without looking at her. When the newcomer greeted the crew, a smile finally appeared in the corners of her lips. Sanuye had called him Songan, so she assumed that this was his name. He refered to Ayasha first, greeting her shortly after. The green-eyed female answered to this with a light bow and a a low "Pleasure."

Now she didn't feel so confused nor nostalgic. Ayasha had already recieved the bad news, but she had taken that with resignation. Somehow, she already knew what had been the destiny of her beloved. Her attitude had taken some the weight off the medic's shoulders. And the presence of these friendly people eased her tension almost completely, creating a lighter atmosphere. That was, of course, before the following words left the brunette's mouth. "I do not know if this is a good time to ask, but does somebody know what happened to Chief Dawali?" The question had been trapped in her mouth since she had first recieved the news of the recent events, and to say it loud was a relief. "I was just wondering..." Her gaze slipped towards her hand, which was stil in contact with the ground. "I was out for some days, and it seems like everything has changed since i returned. What has happened?" She moved her head lightly in Ayasha's direction, but the question was directed to everybody. But then another question appeared in her mind. Had this been a good time to ask?

Ayasha gave a slight frown at hearing what happened to Songan. She even gave a slight growl, almost unconsciously. She nodded in response to Luna’s question, even if it wasn’t directed at her. She knew quite a bit about the whole fiasco that Maska brought with him. ”He will never be my leader. Only Dawali will.” She said hotly, not being angry at the females but at what was going on in AniWaya.

She brightened slightly at the sight of Songan. ”Hi! Are you doing OK? Have you seen a healer? Luna here or Mizu I’m sure would look at your wounds.” She glanced over at the earthen female in question as she said this. ”Why did they hurt you?” She gave another growl as she thought of the usurper and his goons hurting people she cared for.

At Luna’s question of what happened to Dawali, Ayasha took some calming breaths so that she didn’t become too angry. ”Apparently the spirits didn’t chose him, so he isn’t the real chief and has lied to us. What I don’t get is why we have to follow their leadership when we’re essentially separate from them.” She looked at Songan and Sanuye to see if they could explain better, answer her query, or add anything at all.

Sanuye didn't like Maska or anything that he had done so far to the tribe. She never knew that the Chief of the Great Tribe could be so cold heart to do such a thing. He looked over to Luna as she spoke and nodded. "Yes. Maska is one of the Councilman from the Great Tribe. He's apprently well respected there though I can't see why." Her eyes moved over, glad to have Songan's company, though couldn't help but worry about him. His and the red wolf's gaze moved over to Ayasha as she stated that Dawali would only be her chief. His gaze moved around with a worried look on his fave. "Keep quiet about that kind of stuff Ayasha. I wouldn't like to see anything happen to you if Maska or one of his guardians heard you." He was sure that continued support for his brother would bring nothing but harm to the other members. For now they would have to follow his orders.

His ears fell a bit as Ayasha began to ask the red wolf her questions. He gave her a small smile before looking to Sanuye. "Sanuye has been treating me. There's no wounds, just sore in my back and some bruises." Sanuye rubbed his back gently as he soon spoke again. "I came to Maska with my bow and refused to hand it over, so he had his gaurdian restain me. He's asked me to make some more bows, though I need to finish up the work for your mother before I even begin work on those. I just... worry that he might plan to use them for war even though we're at peace with the neighboring packs..." He had the right to be worried. What kind of craftsman would like the weight on him knowing that his hands made the weapons used to kill others. He prefered making hunting weapons instead.

It seemed Ayasha began to explain just what happened to his brother and again questioned why it should matter. He gave a heavy sigh before continuing on what the white she wolf had said. "It's because the beliefs of AniWaya are the same as those of the Great Tribe... Because he falsely took leadership, he should have been killed, though Maska was merciful of my brother and demoted him instead, which isn't exactly better..." As much as he wanted to agree with Ayasha, the beliefs were the law and they were to be followed. Sanuye could feel Songan's pain and wanted to do something for Dawali, though she wasn't sure what she could do. She looked to the other two she wolves and fiddled with her fingers. "As much as we don't like Maska, we don't have any other choice than to help Dawali than by following him. Just pretend to show your respect." Both of them were from the Great Tribe and knew the laws and customs. It would probably benifit the other two if they learned about the Great Tribe and the culture before things got out of hand.

412(+2) :: Sorry for the lateness!! But here it is my post XD BTW, did you see Rose's badge of "Dawali's Army"? I think that we should use them :3

Luna nodded at Sanuye as her question was being answered. Her despise in her voice for said wolf wasn't hidden from the rest, which meant that all of them shared the same opinion, specially the youngest of the group. Even though the white wolve's words were shushed, Luna could not do else than agree with her, as well as with Sanuye. Nodding in Ayasha's direction, she told her without words that she agreed with her, before refocusing her attention on the red shaded canines.

The smile that appeared at her friend's suggestion of tending at the elder's wounds soon disappeared when she heard the latter's story about how he acquired them. Now not only had the 'Councilman' come to rearrange her packmates' beliefs, but to force them to do things by force even. "It is not your duty to create tools that you don't want to. He cannot force you!" She did her best to keep her tone from sounding histerycal. "The idea of a war is not pleasant for me either. For whatever reason he wants to fight, it would only be losses for both parties. Blood shed for no reason, and the adquisition of an enemy. I just hope that things don't get any worse." Of course, it would be much better if they finished already.

Ayasha's voice sounded again, repeating the same question that many other AniWayans were surely asking themselves. At this point Luna perked her ears out of curiosity. She had little to no information about the Great Tribe, which was this Maska's place of origin. Songan's answer arose her curiosity even more. He didn't speak about the Great Tribe itself, but what had happened to Dawali instead. She already knew what had happened with their former leader, but to hear it from his own brother was another thing. "I disagree, Songan." She said when both the male and the female stopped talking. "As long as Chief Dawali" The word chief was emphasized, as to prove that her loyalty was with him. "has people loyal to him, to be alive is much better than not to be anymore." A smile crossed her features at the irony that Kali, a ghost, supported her words. Then she turned to the woman. "As long as we know where our loyalty lies with, i agree with you, Sanuye." The culture of the Great Tribe was still a bit unknown to her, so, by now, she would play along with her packmates.

OOC: I totally want one.

IC: Ayasha was happy to be in the company of so many people who agreed with her views of their “leader,” even though Ayasha didn’t believe that Maska was their true leader. Though she sighed at Songan’s suggestion. ”J’adore has said the same thing and so would my mother, if she knew. But it is getting harder to just stand by and let him destroy our way of life. AniWaya used to be a happy place. But now…” She shrugged. ”I’ll try but it won’t be easy. But then, when is anything about life easy.” She thought of what had happened to Shiloh as a prime example of life being hard. ”But we can survive.”

She gave a soft growl at Maska’s audacity. ”Does he truly believe that he is a good leader if we all are either angry at him or scared of his wrath? We can’t even ask why or give our opinions. Was it like that in the Great Tribe? Because he keeps hurting those that I care for. And soon, something is going to go terribly wrong and it’ll just get worse.” She bite her lip worriedly.

Maybe Songan could explain to her what he did wrong. ”Songan, can you explain to me what exactly Dawali did or didn’t do that is so wrong? And why it even matters to us.” She hoped that she could actually understand what was going on with someone to actually explain it to her that had mutual respect for her.
