Set July 1, 2011. Very early morning.
The dog King had been back in the kingdom for a few days now with the knowledge that he now posessed. One of his own members had attacked a member of the neighboring tribe and had taken advantage of her. The letter had come as enough of a surprise and had angered him enough, but now he knew who did it and it only made it worse. Once, he would have sought out this dog and killed him for the sins he had committed, but he found he could no longer do that. He had his sons to think about, his mate and his pack, as well. Once, he had lived solely for that purpose and would not have hesitated, but he had built up so much here. He lived for his sons, his daughters, his mate, his grandson. He lived for his pack, for everything they had now.
Though the tribe had wanted justice performed in their own way, by having Vigilante deliver him so that he could be castrated and humiliated, the King had persuaded her to allow him to handle the pnuishment. His initial thought had been to kill him, rid the world of the filth he was, but then he had realized how much was at stake. The caramel-colored dog paced the beach, keeping close to the heavily-scented borders, secui head hung low as he snarled. Vigilante did not know what to do now that he had realized that he could not simply kill him as he so thought he deserved.
Lifting his massive head, the dog King called for the rapist to come to the beach. The howl held no indication of what the meeting was for; it simply demanded his presence. He had no idea what he intended to do, so he would have to make it up as he went when Mysterious arrived.
