title is idk, hurr. Helix! sorry if it's a bit short ^^

Valinta scowled as she wandered throughout the skeletal remains of what was once a supposedly great city. If it was so great, why couldn't she find the single thing she wanted to find? The chocolate-furred female wanted a bag, for Christ's sake and she couldn't find one. Why was it so difficult just attempting to find a cloth sack, essentially, to store her shit?

Trying to calm down, she wandered into store after store after store trying to find one that fit her needs. The large red brick she clutched in her hands cut into the soft pads on her palm and fingers, but she ignored it as the search went on. Resting one hand on her hip and the other on a white building, she leaned against the building and kicked at some rubble. The search for a bag wasn't supposed to be this hard. Putting both hands on her hips, Valinta looked at the red hand print she left on the wall, and then at her bleeding palm. Shrugging, she hefted the brick again and entered yet another store.

Trudging into the shaded store, she picked up the first bag she saw and dropped the brick in it. One of the straps broke. She repeated the process with another bag, and a hole tore in the bottom. Going through three more bags, Valinta growled and threw the brick in frustration. Showing a wiry strength, it went through the broken window and hit a building across the street, with small fragments breaking off. Still growling, the female stalked out of the store and walked throughout the city, wanting to just get lost. She didn't want to see Gunnar, she didn't want to see the caves, she didn't want to see anything. Ignoring everything surrounding her, the woman just walked and walked through Halifax.

meep. Sorry for the wait. If this isn’t okay just let me know. ^^

Helix had been baking in the forgotten city. He had been holed up in an abandoned factory for days since his run in with Tayui. The old man was hurting, aching, old… he wasn’t prepared for what went down. He also had no clue what to do with his life now. He was going to dissolve into Halifax when he died. And Helix would die alone here. He would die in a stuffy, abandoned man thing that he didn’t care about.

Suddenly very depressed, the hybrid looked at his surroundings. He had shacked up in a room that barely had any light, in a hellhole that no one would bother to enter. However, somewhere downstairs there was a noise. The man sighed, wiry legs crossed, uninterested in getting up. The noise kept repeating itself, however, and the old man felt obligated to check it out. With another heavy sigh the man surprisingly nimbly made his way down the stairs in the back of the second floor, intending to scare the living daylights out of whoever chose to ruin his day.

No one was down there, though. With an obvious scowl on his face he walked out of the factory, curious. A distressed woman was walking away from the factory and her scent was the same that was in the factory. “Hey! You!” he called out, annoyed. She wasn’t going to get away with breaking things in his home. Helix never seemed to be polite to the women he interacted with these days.
