Where you go when you're gone

A piece of fluff hung in the air just above his head, and the young male lifted his muzzle up to take a snap at it. The disturbance in the air made the flower seed drift even farther away, and he began to run after it, short legs pumping so that he could keep up with it. It could sure move fast! Emerald eyes fixed on the thing, he passed the borderline, into Labrynth Glen. Sirius' nose could distinguish between some scents, like his brother and Naniko's...but not between different pack borders. It was a wonder that he'd even found a way to his father's pack, Shadowed Sun, at all.

The piece drifted up higher and higher until it was undistinguishable against the cloudy sky. The heavens above were slowly growing darker and darker, unnoticed by the two month old until now. He looked up at them, frowned, then looked around. Where was he? He started for the treeline, just barely reaching the safety of the branches when the rain started.

She wasn't showing anything yet. No signs of why she'd been hiding out, away from her pack, just barely there to make a difference. Nope, no clues. It was better that way. But as she walked the careful lines of her pack's heartland, she stumbled across a familiar looking creature and her heart began to stammer in her chest. It looked like Thanos.......

The shifted were looked down at the child, offering a kind smile because she could do nothing else. "Hello there.....are you lost?" The urge to crush the puppy to her chest and hold what looked like her baby boy was so strong.....but she knew better. Thanos was older and wiser (hopefully) by that point. But her baby boy he would always be.

He wasn't sure if he was supposed to be here...or even where "here" was. He had been away from home before, but only with Naniko or one of the other adults of the pack. It was really different to be out by himself, without anyone there to protect him if something happened. But how much did he need protection? He was strong!! He could protect himself!

Sirius walked with his chest puffed out, strolling along beneath the leaves. Maybe he would just claim these lands as his own, and live without anybody. He was staying with his father right now, but he didn't need to. All he needed to do was learn how to hunt and he'd be all set!

The young male gasped when he heard a voice, a wolf stepping out before him. She was huge, standing on two legs, and he had to look so far up that his head was tilted all the way back. Ever since he had started learning Itallian and French from the matron of his old pack he hadn't stopped. Each new wolf that he met he tried them on. He was a little bit better at French than Itallian, though, because the white wolf had known more of that. "Je cherche ici des aventures"

She was quite taken aback at the little boy's maw. Her ears perked, she hadn't heard any french in so long! "Où avez-vous appris le français mon cher?" She asked, a grin on her face. She reached up, brushing a lock of hair out of her brilliant eyes, looking down at him. She seated herself, crossing her legs at the ankles as she watched him. "Je suis Fatin." She said gently, testing the boy's limits on his knowledge of the language.

Well, this certainly was interesting. She was saying something back, but he couldn't figure out what the first part was. The second part made sense to him, about her being Fatin...he knew what the word for name was. "Je suis Sirius" He parroted, his tail wagging back and forth quickly. He wasn't afraid of her any more, just interested. He wanted to know more about French, but Naniko had always been so busy with the other pups...she didn't really have the time. But this wolf...maybe she did.

"I doessss...not knows much" He said in English. "But you's...you's doezz."
