WC:277. - Gather together.. for gathering! Big Grin. Orin, Erzulie is welcome to this thread if you want to join in!

Something thrilling would happen this day, something Bangle could hardly wait for. Today he would not do the same thing he had been doing, nor be keeping a careful eye on his children. Each passing day they grew, he noticed, and not only got bigger but learned some responsibilities (certainly not many from him). Slowly, orange eyes opened to see orange before him, splayed out along his shoulder, moving up and down quietly. The fire of Skye's hair led him to look out the nearest window, and watch as the leaves from the nearest tree had begun to turn color. At the sight, Bangle grinned and slowly inched his way out of bed, finding only to have awoken just as the sun had touched this part of land.

He dressed, swiftly and loosely. Bangle had occupied Skye's house long enough to bring his necessities with him, and left his other nick-knacks to dangle back at his shack. Before the sun shone through the window panes he had donned his moss colored wrap, complete with every belt he had when he first ventured into Cercatori d'Arte. Bags and cases adorned him as if he himself were a walking storage unit, and his children laughed at him, having woken them in the process of gathering his things. "Let's wake yer mother up.. gently, eh?" Bangle winked, knowing that his children knew what that word meant. They paced across the room as all three coywolves bounded into the bedroom, the large pups hopping onto the bed with ease. "Wwwake up! Sun's up n' so should you!" Bangle grinned, watching as Robert gently licked his mother's face, wagging his tail calmly.

With as in-tune as 'Zulie always was with her surroundings no one could hope to sneak through the house without her finding out, especially not daddy. Her dad-dar went off the moment the dreadlocked man awoke even though she was in another room. Father's foot-paws touched the ground and puppy head popped up simultaneously, eyes wide to greet the day as though she hadn't just been lost in a dream world. Now she was with him and already feeling rambunctious as she ran over to him and snagged a fold of his waist wrap in her teeth, yanking on the end and cinching it far too tightly on the man's waist. “Mm hewping,” she muffled through the cloth, but her eyes showed nothing but mischief. She ran around her father, trying to pull him in a circle (and having much more weight to throw around now than in the recent past) before leaping onto the bed, landing in the crumpled sheets from which her father just rose.

“Mooommmaaa! Daddy says gettup!” She howled, jostling for position with Robert. She nosed at her mother's face, pink tongue lapping out to shower her mother with a thousand puppy kisses. Her tail sliced the air and whipped at her brother's flank as it wagged merrily. It wasn't long until one nip at Skye's cheek became a nip at the opposing pup, and then the two collided like titans... very small titans... Eight legs tangled in the sheets that protected their mother and a moment later there was a resounding THUMP THUMP as they toppled over Skye and fell to the floor, a mound of fur, flailing limbs, and cloth.

Somewhere in the mix pearly white teeth chomped down on a fluffy tail, but anyone who witnessed the scene would cringe as they watched the madness. The two pups, folded over each other, didn't know their nose from their tails, and the teeth and the tail all belonged to one pup. Erzulie yelped when she realized what she had done – more from the humiliation than anything – and began whining, pressing one paw on her brother's chest and the other just above his eye and shoving him, but as entangled as they were, they could no separate. “Robert, stoooop!” she moaned, as though the auburn boy had anything to do with their quandary. “Daddyyyyyy!”

I'm so sorry fro the delay, guys - I promise I'll reply a lot more after this <3

The creamy white female had been sleeping quite peacefully - the work that she had had to have done after Liam's disobedience, preparing for the cold coming months, and keeping the pack in check had been a lot of work for her for the week - and so she was grateful for the little rest that she could get in between the work. But at the edge of her senses, she was beginning to wake up - slowly, gradually, and qui -

"Eek!" Skye cried as she felt the weight of her two pups on her chest, and Bangle and Erzulie's voices loud and clear. Grinning, she sat upright and looked from her mate to her two pups. "Well good morning," she said a bit groggily, wiping her eyes and hugging her two pups with one arm as she did so. Before she could say another word, however, Robert and Erzulie, fighting for a position on the bed, tangled into each others' tails and legs and fell from the bed and onto the floor. Skye, jerked awake now, leapt from her position on the bed and knelt down beside the two pups that were now writhing on the floor.

Before Skye could stop her, Erzulie, in the madness of the wrestling, accidentally bit down on her own tail. As she began to whine for her father, Skye put her hands on Robert and gently pulled him away, setting him down on the floor before looking at both of them sternly, but not without a glint of mischief in her eyes. "That's enough," she said. She then turned to her ivory white daughter; "Do you need anything for that tail you just bit?" she asked lightly, a slight teasing tone to her voice.

WC:3+ - Catch up time for me! Big Grin

Before the morning had been a full one, Bangle was already dancing in a circle, though it was partially due to the young female pup trying to help him get ready. Finding his footing, he chuckled as she quickly lost interest and decided to go with her brother to wake their mother up in a "gentle" manner. Sunset eyes beamed as he stepped forward casually and watched Skye awake with a startle, a sight that made the coywolf grin wider, but look on at his tousling family.

A glance outside at the leaves that clung to their branches like newborn babes made Bangle ponder for a moment. Had he been asked last autumn, when the leaves were crunching under his feet like a sweet song, if he had thought about a family and home of his own, the craftsman would have thrown a hearty guffaw into the seasonal air. Once, the world was his backyard, and the only family he ever needed were passing nomads and faces he befriended only for benefits and trade. Now, as he turned to watch Erzulie and Robert roll head over tail with one another on the wooden floor, a warm flicker of love swam across his orbs. The world was still there, just outside, but inside he had a world of his own too.

Crossing his arms, he watched with an amusing chortle as Skye attempted to put her pups in their place, when it was their father that she should have scorned. As he stepped forward, Bangle attempted to lift the red haired female from the bed, pulling at the nearest hand. "Naw, she's fine," he said before their daughter could respond. "C'mon now, Skye, th' harvest isn't gonna pick itself." Letting go of her hand, he leaned forward and gave a grunt of effort as he lifted Robert into his arms, though awkwardly because of his growing size, but he simply squeaked and his body relaxed in his father's grip.

Everything was a mess and then suddenly they were separated, Robert hoisted away from her and set aside by her mother’s sure hands. She looked up at her mommy for a moment before turning to glare at Robert, her mother’s banter not lost on her. “Only for Robert to be less stupid.” She replied in a pouty voice when her mother asked if she needed anything.

The girl became distracted by something outside the window, and as Bangle leaned over to pick up Robert she wandered away from her family. She heard her brother’s squeak as he was brought into Bangle’s arms, but she did little to acknowledge it save flick an ear.

When she came to the window she reared up onto her hind paws and rested her forepaws on the sill. Her chin settled down atop her paws and her little wet nose pressed against the glass, fogging the window and leaving a wet smear in its wake. “Why are the trees crying?” she asked as she watched a few rusty leaves fall to the ground. It seemed a little gusty outside, the breezes had been picking up as of late, and there had been a few other changes to the world that the pup was growing slowly more aware of. It felt darker, the days were shorter. She popped down from the window and trotted over to her mother, looking properly concerned and frustrated at the same time.

“Is there a monster eating the days?”
