Terra hunched her shoulders, bracing against the cold. She had hidden lots of food away, so her worry about winter had finally ceased. She was ready to relax and simply enjoy her life in the pack. Walking along the edge she sniffed, following a faint trail. Terra was looking for Shandom, hoping that he was doing well. She hadn't really seen him around since they went swimming together, and he was one of the few people she knew in the pack. For a moment she considered trying to meet more pack members, but shook her head. She was happy the way she was. She could identify pack members, and Terra wasn't the kind of person that befriended everyone she came across with. It was too much of a bother to do that.
Terra paused, looking over the borders. She hadn't left the territory for a while, actually beginning to settle down and stay closer to the territory. She was beginning to find where she fit in, and hadn't pulled any pranks on the pack members. Her knowledge of human culture was growing as well, watching pack members cook their food and learning about the horses. Terra would never ride them, but she could appreciate the convenience behind riding a horse, and had decided to refrain from eating them. Well, at least horses that belonged to wolves. Wild ones were still fair game. She hadn't changed that much. Picking up a fresher scent Terra trotted faster, hoping to come across Shandom soon.
