Hot and Cold

Amy shook her fur as she climbed out of the water. It had been a while since she'd taken a break from work. It was difficult never knowing when the slave would try and make a break for it, but the girl had been thoroughly tied up this time, letting her relax. She climbed farther up the shore, leaving herself in lupine form. Amy preferred her optime form, but this time she just let the beauty of her lupine side shine through. Her creamy coat glistened in the light, a slight curl of hair coming off her tail. Her steps were confident as they moved across. Her eyes claimed her master of everything she saw. In every way possible Amy was beautiful, even if it was a cold beauty that froze people's hearts.

For once she was in no hurry for anything. The sun was just beginning to set, but Amy didn't want to rush back to her responsibilities just yet. She'd gotten what she'd wanted when she came to America, removing the hours of boredom and waste. There was very little time for relaxing now, keeping the girl in top condition. Sleek muscles could be seen under her pelt, rolling smoothly as she strode through the woods. Amy detoured from the wagon, instead choosing to rest on a ledge she came across. She could see the appeal of this wild lifestyle, leaving behind the glamor and worry of living in optime. In this breath of wilderness, her heartbeat cut strong and true, a reminder of where her ancestors had come from.

Thoirni sat perched on the fallen log watching the strange woman as she took a dip in the crisp cold water. He enjoyed watching the lovely creature as she bathed and finally slid out of the liquid, cool water streaming off her body as the steam slowly began to rise as her body temperature battled the atmosphere's difference in degrees. His eyes roamed her form as a smile broke across his lips. She was a fine thing to look at, even if she wasn't a wolf. There was something in her grace that just called to the male and with a soft chuckle he rose from his place and lept down from the log he'd been resting on.

His silvery grey pelt shimmered as his muscles glided smoothly under his skin. He followed her through the woods. His paws thumping on the ground as he came upon the ledge where the woman rested. His sapphire eyes roamed once more over the pale woman as he chuckled. "Like a queen lording over her lands..." he said. Smiling softly he watched the dominate beauty before him.

Amy heard steps behind her, and turned her head slightly to watch. A silvery wolf approached her, muscles visible in his movements. He appeared to be a fine specimen. In other circumstances Amy would have seen a potential customer, or simple merchandise to secure. The facade of the trader had been dropped though, and Amy's bare mind examined him. She saw the enjoyment she could receive from him, and a grin slowly crossed her face. Amy's tail beat gently behind her, breaking the silence of the air around them.

And who would you be? A wandering knight? Or perhaps a prince in disguise. Languidly she slid off where she stood, approaching him. She hadn't dropped any of her arrogant demeanor, yet she didn't demand that he submit. Instead Amy viewed him with interest, allowing him to choose his own posture. He seemed strong, something that attracted her as few things did. She sniffed at him, striding around in a circle. No, maybe just a jester here for my amusement? A playful look lighted her face, teasing the wolf to try and match her.

He chuckled at her response. A smile on his maw as he danced around her perch. He shook his head as a wink was thrown to the woman of mixed heritage. He had no problem with flirting with ladies of all heritage and species, but that didn't mean he was going to give his heart away to every pretty tail that passed him by.

The silver grey timberwolf growled softly as he crouched low playfully, his tail a wagging furry behind him as he commented. "what I am lady, there are no names for but my own..." he pounced back up to his full height as he proudly and arrogantly stated simply. "I'm Thoirni.. " he grinned a rather toothy grin and asked. "and who would my queen be?"

Smiling right back Amy answered. I am Amy Sunders, though you may call me Amy. She laughed lightly, to show that she was just teasing. Her last name was only important to those who knew of her family. Without that it was just a fancy decoration. Pushing forwards Amy nuzzled against the silvery wolf. Her tail wagged, enjoying his company.

Perhaps you'll allow the queen to award you a title? I mark you as Prince Knight of the Wanderers. Thought Thoirni will do just as well. She chuckled lightly, enjoying herself immensely. A slight fire started in her body, startling Amy from her thoughts. She found herself wanting him, though she usually didn't fall for just anyone. There was something about him that just drew her in.

This was his thing. He lived for the thrill of the game when there were no duties and ranks to hold him back, and currently freedom was all he had. His eyes were filled with amusement and there was laughter in his voice when the woman graced him with a name finally. He gave a sweeping bow as he let the words poetically fall from his maw, knowing he should have been sold as a player into the theatrics as a pup. "the fair and glorious lady hath graced this lowly and unworthy beast of burden with a name. The queen Amy shall reign over her lands right and justly...unless she has it in her mind to travel..." his sparkling eyes joked as he tilted his head slightly, giving the woman a wink as he waited to find out just who was chasing who's tail right now.

..and yet he wanted nothing more to play the role he had been given. He was a horrible thing, leading the ladies on, baiting them, woeing them with dreams and fantasies before flitting away like a fast winged hummingbird when things grew serious. He was a horrid flirt and would probably be til his dying days but no one had tried to stop him yet and he doubted that anyone would.

Amy chuckled slightly, brushing her tail just under her nose. Eyes gleaming the small spark fanned into a fire. She didn't want to give up playing just yet though. Even if she knew how the game would end, she'd still play innocent until then. Teasingly Amy trotted before him, not a word spoken. Her movements did all that for her. Playfully she bowed down, stretching up to lick his cheek.

Just as suddenly she leaped away, standing in the mouth of the woods. Whining softly Amy bowed again, inviting her companion to follow. Slowly she backed up, ears swiveled around. Amy entered the woods, half hidden in the partial light. Fur glowing Amy waited for the next move, tail swishing steadily.

He watched the lovely stranger's form as she danced before his gleaming orbs. He was playing a game, he would soon find just how far she was willing to dance to this tune as she dipped down low and bowed before him. A slight playful growl brewed in his throat as her tongue rasped across his cheek. The glowing embers of the game soon began to glow brighter as he grinned, his sun shot sapphire eyes roaming over her body for a fraction of a second before she prance away.

He watched her spring away, her floating form fluttering to the edge of the woods as she turned back to give him one of the sultry looks that females saved for when they were trying to put the devil in a male's soul. He had seen that look one too many times and wouldn't fall prey to her wiles, but that didn't mean he wouldn't follow along.

His eyes glowed slightly as he lowered his gaze and slowly padded after the female into the woods. A slight smile played upon his maw as he watched the patterns of the shadows dance upon her pelt. He growled low and playfully as he stalked after the wolfess, like a predator looming in on it's prey.

A shiver ran over her spine as she was stalked. It felt good, knowing that she was wanted. Amy watched as the silvery wolf approached her, muscles smooth as silk. Her brown eyes glowed, almost laughing in the light. The shadows were perfect for this game of cat and mouse, dancing over their furs as a covering. Thoirni reached her, and she rewarded him with a soft whine, stretching out towards him.

The male smiled up at her. It didn't matter that they were both strangers, brought together by chance. What mattered was the moment, and the quiet thrumming of her heart. Her tail wagged lazily, the wet fur flashing as the small pieces of sunlight hit it. Her fur was almost dry, with just droplets clinging to her body. She pressed into him, allowing their bodies to rub together before she pulled apart, gazing into his eyes.

It was foolish, it was cruel, but it was the way of life. She had been so willing to play along with his game and he hadn't minded following her into the depths of her fantasy but he knew in the end she would be left alone and he would be off on another adventure. He had no real intentions of bedding the canine, but the game was worth it alone. The thrill of the chase, the exotic emotions that mixed in the dappled light as they slide in and out of the trees. All of it would cause the dice to fall, and soon enough she would roll a snake eyes and loose it all. His eyes sparkled, she didn't know yet, but soon she would.

His heart beat with the rush of excitement, the thrill of the game, the feel of her body pressed against his as her soft whine broke the air. A slight smile fell upon his lips as she seemed so inviting, so fresh. It was a temptation that he was almost willing to chase after, but he was a breed apart from the creatures of these lands and he intended to stay that way. He gazed into her eyes for a moment before letting his body once more brush against her own as he slide past her, ignoring the woman for a moment in time as he let the game press on.

Amy frowned slightly as Thoirni brushed away. He had been the one to approach her, after all. She wouldn't take well to being stood up. Not well at all. Especially this far in the game. A light fire had been ignited in Amy, and though it didn't burn with passion Amy wasn't used to ignoring her desires, instead fully pursuing them as if there was no end to this world. She glanced over her shoulders, measuring the silver wolf's reaction. A slight smile crooked her lips as she realized it was just another part of the dance.

Well, two could play at that. Contentedly Amy stretched out on the ground. Eyes half closed she listened for the wolf's movement, measuring his reaction. It was a game, one where there would be no defined outcome. Nothing was expected from either side, but the dance was as old as anything in the world, carrying all the weight of it. She rolled onto her back, letting her pale belly flash for a moment before she was sitting up again, watching her mysterious suitor.
