Sky and Tammy are in their lupus forms for once.
The sounds of cheerful playing could be heard from Sky's yard, a contrast to the usual silence of the medic's house. She'd decided to take the day off to spend time with Tameri, who was growing up far too fast for Sky's liking. Her little girl was already at the adolesent size of her lupus form and Sky had no doubt that her baby would soon be learning to shift into her Secui and Optime forms.
Sky rolled onto her side in the shallow layer of snow on the ground, laughing as Tammy came pouncing onto her side with a yelp. Gotcha! She cried, tail going a mile a minute.
Sky squirmed under the light weight of her daughter, growling fake protest in response. Oh, you think so, do you? She rolled and pushed the girl away lightly, sending the girl rolling away, paws flailing. Sky made quick work of pouncing the girl, pinning her down under careful forepaws and emitting a laugh of triumpth. Who's got who now, kidlette?
Mooom! That's not faaair! Lemme up! Tammy cried, struggling and laughing underneath her mother's grip. Sky chuckled and stepped back, sitting down and letting the girl wriggle away. I'ma get you now, Mom! Tameri cried, whirling back around and charging her mother again.
Sky landed with a thud into the snow and she wriggled under a much better pin that before, surprised by her daughter's sudden change in tactics. After a few seconds of feeble struggling, Sky let out a tired sigh of consent. Alright, alright, you win. I give up. You're the mighty warrior today, Tam. She muttered into the snow, feigning annoyance.
Tammy growled happily at this and sat back, letting her mom up again. Some snow was shaken from both of their pelts and then the two girls flopped down against eachother, panting and taking a break. The day was still young and Sky had a feeling it would be a long, long time before she'd get any real rest after this. Tam had woken up hyper as shit that morning and she still wasn't losing any of that pup-famous energy.
